CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: AiGrow delivered bot followers. In our 30-day test it added more than 10,000 followers, but engagement collapsed from 2.6% to 0.3% and reach fell, which is how bot accounts behave. It now sells sourced Reels from $599 a month. For real followers, read our Kicksta review instead.
AiGrow describes itself as an Instagram and TikTok growth service. Today its main product is a managed posting plan: a dedicated account manager publishes several short videos a day on your profile, aiming for reach and follower growth.
That's a big change from what AiGrow used to be. Our earlier review covered it as an automation bot that liked, followed and sent messages for you. That product is no longer what the site sells, so this review looks at the service as it stands now, alongside the Instagram growth tools we compare it with.
AiGrow no longer works like a growth tool. Instead of helping people find your profile, it fills your feed with short videos several times a day and counts on some of them reaching a wide audience. The content is chosen for reach, not for your brand.
You sign up, open the dashboard and pick a package under Upgrade. There's no free trial, so the first month is paid upfront.
A dedicated account manager reviews your goals, niche and audience in an onboarding call.
The manager sources Reels, writes captions and hashtags, and schedules three, five or seven posts a day depending on your plan. Original Reels cost $99 each on top.
AiGrow sends daily and monthly reports. It says reach should climb sharply after a one-to-two-month warm-up.
You cancel from the subscription section of the dashboard, or by email. Refunds cover the unused balance, minus any discount you received.
AiGrow is hard to recommend to the people most likely to look for it: creators and small businesses looking for genuine followers at a sensible price. The cheapest plan costs more than most growth services charge in half a year, and what you get is a stream of reposted clips rather than growth built around your own work.
The pitch is simple: post far more often than you could on your own, and let volume do the work. AiGrow's own case study claims an account reached 15 million people and gained 75,000 followers in 30 days, and it talks about 10,000 to 80,000 new followers a month.
There is some logic to this. Short videos are how new people find accounts on Instagram, and posting consistently helps. But the gains only matter if the people arriving care about you, and a profile filled with clips sourced from other creators gives them little reason to.
If you want more people discovering your own content, the routine in our guide to grow followers organically costs nothing, and a targeted growth service can speed it up for a fraction of AiGrow's price.
AiGrow's Trustpilot page tells a similar story. It scores 2.5 out of 5 from 377 reviews, and the critical ones describe trouble cancelling, features locked during an old trial and poor results after paying.
AiGrow isn't the only service where we saw this. Our SimplyGram review found the same pattern of fast follower jumps followed by collapsing engagement.
We gave AiGrow a 30-day trial run on a test account in September and October 2026. The profile began with 2,433 followers, and we tracked it daily without changing anything else about how it was run.
Our numbers came straight from Instagram Insights: follower count, engagement rate and accounts reached over 30 days. After stopping the service we waited 14 days, then checked how many new followers were already missing.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 2,433 | 13,241 |
| Engagement rate | 2.6% | 0.3% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 8,686 | 8,235 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 337 |
If you want posting taken off your plate completely, AiGrow does that. A manager handles sourcing, captions, hashtags and scheduling every day.
Each plan comes with daily and monthly reports plus one-on-one meetings, so you can at least see what's being posted and when.
Followers jumped from 2,433 to 13,241, but our engagement rate fell from 2.6% to 0.3% and accounts reached actually dropped. Then 337 vanished within two weeks of stopping. That's how bot accounts behave: they inflate the count, never engage, and get cleared out.
Plans start at $599 a month and run to $1,999. That's a large monthly bill for content AiGrow mostly sources from elsewhere, with original Reels charged on top at $99 each.
Standard plans publish "professionally sourced" Reels. Instagram's own guidelines say content repurposed from another source with only minor edits may not be recommended, which works against the reach you're paying for.
The homepage promises a 30-day money-back guarantee while the FAQ says 14 days, and refunds exclude any discounts. There's no free trial, and cancellations go through the dashboard or by email, not the website chat.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Steady Growth | $599/month | 3 Reels or TikToks posted a day, account manager, reports |
| Turbo Boost | $999/month | 5 Reels or TikToks posted a day, account manager, reports |
| Super Turbo | $1,999/month | 7 Reels or TikToks posted a day, account manager, reports |
| Custom | On request | Built on a call; original Reels cost $99 per post |
Prices are AiGrow's monthly list prices; the site also advertises a time-limited discount code. There's no free trial. AiGrow's FAQ promises a 14-day money-back guarantee, its homepage says 30 days, and refunds exclude any discount you used.
AiGrow also sells DM marketing and lead generation, and unfollow plans that remove inactive followers. Prices for these aren't published on the site.
Prices checked October 15, 2026.
AiGrow's account managers run your Instagram and TikTok on your behalf, so you are handing over day-to-day control of what appears on your profile. AiGrow says it doesn't store client passwords, but anything posted under your name is still your responsibility.
The bigger concern is the content itself. Instagram's recommendation guidelines list unoriginal content, repurposed from elsewhere with only minor edits, among posts that may not be recommended. A plan built on sourced clips sits uncomfortably with that.
Before handing anyone access, turn on Instagram's two-step login and check exactly what will be posted under your name.

AiGrow says it never uses bots, but the followers it delivered behaved exactly like bots: more than 10,000 arrived, engagement fell to 0.3%, reach slipped and hundreds disappeared soon after we stopped. Add a $599 starting price, mostly reposted content and conflicting refund terms, and it's hard to justify. You'll get real people from one of the best growth services we've tested.
It delivered bot followers: thousands arrived, almost none engaged. Choose Kicksta instead.
1.5/5AiGrow says it doesn't, but our results say otherwise. Followers rose by 10,808 while engagement dropped to 0.3% and reach fell, and 337 left within two weeks of stopping. Real, interested followers don't behave like that; bot accounts do.
It's now a done-for-you content service. An account manager posts three to seven Reels or TikToks a day on your profile, and AiGrow also sells DM marketing and lead generation. It used to be an Instagram automation bot.
Steady Growth is $599 a month for 3 Reels a day, Turbo Boost is $999 for 5, and Super Turbo is $1,999 for 7. Original Reels made for you cost $99 per post on a custom plan.
It runs as a company, but we don't recommend it. In our test, engagement fell from 2.6% to 0.3% and 337 followers left within two weeks of stopping. On Trustpilot it scores 2.5 out of 5 from 377 reviews.
No. AiGrow doesn't offer a free trial. Its FAQ mentions a 14-day money-back guarantee, while the homepage says 30 days.
Through the subscription section of your AiGrow dashboard, or by email if that doesn't work. AiGrow says it doesn't process cancellations through its website chat.
Kicksta is our top pick. It costs far less, helps real people in your niche discover your own posts, and lifted our engagement rate to 5.5% in the same 30-day test.
