CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: SimplyGram says micro-influencers recommend your profile, yet over our month-long test the new arrivals were bot followers: almost 15,000 arrived while engagement fell from 2.6% to 0.4% and reach dropped. At $69 a week and up, read our Kicksta review for real growth instead.
SimplyGram describes itself as influencer-driven profile growth. It says it hand-picks micro-influencers from a network of more than 15,000 to recommend your profile to their own audiences every day, with an account manager running the campaign.
That's a newer story than the one it told a few years ago, when a press release credited its results to networks of Instagram accounts set up for each client. Among the Instagram growth tools we review, it delivered the biggest follower jump and one of the steepest engagement drops.
SimplyGram's current pitch is that micro-influencers in your niche personally recommend your profile, so new followers arrive warmed up and engaged. If that were happening at scale, engagement and reach would rise. In our test both fell while the follower count exploded.

Share your profile link and your niche; no password is requested.
SimplyGram says it matches you with 10, 20 or 50 micro-influencers, depending on the plan.
It says those creators share your profile with their followers every day, with a link included.
Billing repeats every week until you cancel by email or the contact form, at least a day before renewal.
SimplyGram now sells itself as influencer-driven growth. In our test it delivered bot followers on a massive scale: nearly 15,000 new followers while engagement and reach fell. That's not an audience anyone should pay weekly for.
The influencer angle sounds appealing: recommendations from creators people already trust should bring followers who care, and you never hand over your password.
Our numbers didn't fit that story. A real recommendation campaign that added almost 15,000 followers would lift reach and engagement. Ours did the opposite, and hundreds of followers were gone two weeks after we stopped. That is how bot followers show up.
If you'd like to grow an audience that sticks, our guide to real follower growth covers what works, and our brands can speed it up with real people.

Trusy is another service we tested in the same round.
SimplyGram had 30 days on our largest test account, across September and October 2026. The account stood at 3,198 followers at the start, and we kept to our usual posting rhythm.
We read follower count, engagement and monthly reach off Instagram Insights each day. We stopped at the end of the month, then looked again 14 days later to count the followers we'd lost.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 3,198 | 17,935 |
| Engagement rate | 2.6% | 0.4% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 12,040 | 11,473 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 362 |
SimplyGram doesn't ask for your Instagram password or log in to your account.
Its FAQ admits that no honest service can promise a specific number of followers, which is more candid than most rivals.
SimplyGram delivered bot followers. Our account went from 3,198 to 17,935 followers in 30 days, but engagement fell from 2.6% to 0.4% and reach actually dropped. Then 362 disappeared within 14 days of stopping, the way bot accounts vanish when Instagram clears them out.
Its 2022 press release described a "mother/child" method: setting up 25 to 100 Instagram accounts per client to message hundreds of users a day. Today it describes micro-influencer shoutouts instead, so it's hard to know what you're paying for.
Plans are billed weekly at $69, $99 or $199, so even the smallest plan costs $276 over four weeks.
The FAQ promises a full, no-questions-asked refund within 30 days. The terms say refunds cover only the most recent paid period, which is a single week.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $69/week | 10 niche micro-influencers promoting your profile, account manager |
| Influencer | $99/week | 20 micro-influencers, 1:1 strategy consultations |
| Professional | $199/week | 50 micro-influencers, priority support |
SimplyGram bills weekly and has no monthly plan, so we've listed its weekly prices. Over four weeks, Individual costs $276, Influencer $396 and Professional $796. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial.
The FAQ advertises a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund. The terms limit refunds to the most recent paid period and exclude partial-period use. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel at least one day before the next billing date.

Because SimplyGram doesn't log in to your account, your password stays safe. The risk sits with the followers: bot accounts never engage, and Instagram removes fake accounts in waves, which drags your engagement rate and reach down with them.
It's worth reading Instagram's platform terms before paying any service to grow your follower count, and checking new followers' profiles yourself after a few days.
Whatever service you try, protect your account with Instagram's two-factor security and judge any service by how many people react to your posts rather than by the headcount.

SimplyGram promises trusted creators sending you warm, engaged fans. What we got looked like bot accounts that never engage: nearly 15,000 of them, an engagement rate down to 0.4% and reach that fell. Add weekly billing and refund terms that undercut its FAQ, and it's one to avoid. Real growth comes from real people, which is what the top growth services we rank deliver.
The followers it delivered behaved like bots. Kicksta brings real people who engage, for far less.
1/5Our results say so. In 30 days it added 14,737 followers while engagement fell from 2.6% to 0.4% and reach went down, and 362 disappeared within two weeks of stopping. Real fans recommended by influencers don't behave like that; bot accounts do.
An Instagram growth service. It says it pays micro-influencers in your niche to recommend your profile to their followers, managed by an account manager.
Individual is $69 a week, Influencer $99 a week and Professional $199 a week. There's no monthly plan; billing runs week to week after a 3-day free trial.
No. It asks only for your profile link and says it doesn't automate activity on your account.
Email support or use the contact form at least one day before your next billing date. The campaign runs to the end of the paid week.
Kicksta. It costs less per month than one SimplyGram plan costs over four weeks, and in our test its followers engaged, lifting our engagement rate to 5.5%.
