CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Keesy delivered bot followers in our test, despite promising "no bots". Followers rose by 13,722, yet engagement dropped to 0.6%, reach stayed flat and 426 vanished within two weeks of stopping. Plans run $99 to $299 a month. For AI-driven growth with real people, read our Kenji review.
Keesy is an Instagram growth service that leans heavily on AI branding: GPT-powered targeting, AI profile optimization and a "Keesy AI" assistant. It says it has helped tens of thousands of users since 2016.
It promises 1,000 to 5,000 or more new followers a month depending on the plan. We put that promise through the same 30-day test we use for every AI growth tool on our site.
Keesy describes a mix of paid advertising, "nano-interactions", niche data clusters and human activity, steered by GPT-trained targeting. Elsewhere on the same site it talks about cutting-edge automation that runs while you sleep, so the exact method is never fully clear.
Sign up and connect your Instagram account. Keesy says it doesn't ask for your password.
Choose niche, location, language, age and gender filters for the audience you want.
Higher plans add AI competitor targeting, AI profile optimization and, on Pro, a dedicated manager.
Follower numbers appear in a live dashboard, with PDF growth reports.
Cancel from billing settings at any time. Refunds are only possible within 7 days of your first purchase.
Keesy promises AI-powered growth free of bots and fake accounts. The data from our month says otherwise: a huge jump in followers that behaved like bot accounts, while the engagement that makes Instagram growth worthwhile fell away.
The attraction is volume. Few services promise thousands of new followers a month at these prices, and the free start lowers the barrier further.
But volume isn't the goal. Followers who never like or comment make every post look weaker, and Instagram shows weak posts to fewer people. Our guide on earning real followers covers what actually builds reach.
If you're weighing several services, our Trusy review looks at another provider whose followers behaved the same way.
The same happened with FollowFuse, which we tested during the same period.
Keesy grew a test account of ours for a month that ran from September into October 2026. On day one the profile had 3,082 followers, and nothing about how often or what we posted changed.
We read the follower total, engagement rate and reach from Instagram Insights every day. Two weeks after the service ended, a final check showed how many new followers had since disappeared.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 3,082 | 16,804 |
| Engagement rate | 3.3% | 0.6% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 13,468 | 13,409 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 426 |
You can start without entering a credit card, which makes it easy to see the dashboard before deciding.
Location, language, age and gender filters give you plenty of settings to play with, at least on paper.
We started at 3,082 followers and ended the month on 16,804, but engagement collapsed from 3.3% to 0.6% and reach didn't grow at all. Within 14 days of stopping, 426 followers had disappeared. Bot accounts behave exactly like this: they pad the count, ignore your posts and vanish when Instagram purges them.
Keesy's headline promise is "no bots, no fake followers". Followers who never engage and leave by the hundred don't match that promise, whatever technology sits behind it.
The pricing page says "Grow or money back" and "Guaranteed growth or it's free", but Keesy's terms only allow a refund request within 7 days of your first purchase. After that, fees are non-refundable.
The site mentions 55,000+ users in one place and 100,000+ in another, still says "It's 2024", and repeats feature descriptions under the wrong headings. Its Trustpilot profile had no reviews when we checked.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $99/month | Live dashboard; Keesy promises 1,000–1,500 followers a month |
| Growth | $149/month | Adds Keesy AI, AI competitor targeting and profile optimization; promises 2,500–3,500+ |
| Pro | $299/month | Adds a viral content library and dedicated account manager; promises 3,500–5,000+ |
These are Keesy's regular monthly prices. Your first month is discounted, and yearly billing lowers the monthly rate, but the figures above are what you'll pay month to month afterwards.
Keesy's terms allow a refund request only within 7 days of the initial purchase. The promised follower ranges come from Keesy, not from our test.

Keesy says it doesn't need your password and that it's fully compliant with Instagram's rules. Even so, the followers it brought in are the bigger risk. Bot accounts push your engagement rate down, signalling to Instagram that your content isn't worth showing, and they leave in waves when Instagram removes fake profiles.
Before linking any third-party service, read Instagram's terms page and check which kinds of outside activity it permits.
Big follower ranges promised every month, like 3,500 to 5,000+, are hard to reach with real people. Treat them as a warning sign, and switch on two-factor login security whatever you choose.

Keesy's AI branding and big follower promises are eye-catching, but our results showed bot followers: a jump of more than 13,000, engagement down to 0.6% and hundreds gone within two weeks. A 7-day refund window behind a "grow or money back" headline doesn't help. The brands we recommend attract genuine people who interact, so begin with the best growth services we've tested.
It promises no bots, but the followers we got behaved like bot accounts. Choose Kenji or Kicksta instead.
2/5It's an Instagram growth service that markets GPT-powered targeting combined with human experts. You connect your account, set filters such as niche, location, age and gender, and Keesy works to bring in followers.
Not by our measure. Followers jumped by 13,722 while engagement fell to 0.6% and reach stayed flat, and 426 left within two weeks. Keesy says it uses no bots, but those followers behaved like bot accounts that never engage.
On monthly billing, Starter is $99, Growth $149 and Pro $299 a month. The first month is discounted to $27, $47 and $97 respectively.
Only within 7 days of your initial purchase, according to its terms. Despite the "grow or money back" wording on the pricing page, later fees are non-refundable.
Its pricing page says you can get started without a credit card. Paid plans then renew monthly until you cancel in your billing settings.
Kenji also uses AI to choose who to engage with, starts at $39 a month, and lifted our engagement rate to 5.3%. Kicksta is our overall top pick.
