TOP LIST · LINKEDIN AUTOMATION
Truly free LinkedIn automation is rare: most tools offer a free plan with tight daily limits or a trial that ends after two weeks. We compared fourteen tools we've reviewed on what you genuinely get without paying, how long it lasts, and what happens when you upgrade. These five give you the most.

This order ranks the free offer itself, not the paid product. A generous trial or a free plan you can keep using counts for more here than the tool's overall review score.
Best for: Sales teams, agencies and founders running LinkedIn outreach
Aimfox doesn't have a free plan, but its 14-day trial unlocks the whole product with no credit card. For two weeks you can run real LinkedIn campaigns with the safety features that make it our top-rated LinkedIn tool.
Aimfox is a cloud platform for LinkedIn outreach. During the trial you can build campaigns from searches, Sales Navigator, post engagers, event attendees and group members, and handle every reply in its shared Unibox. Safety is built in, with account warmup, hard weekly limits and a local IP address for each profile.
Sign up without a card, connect your LinkedIn profile and choose a lead source. Aimfox sends connection requests, messages and follow-ups at a careful pace, and you answer replies from one inbox. If you keep going after 14 days, a seat costs $49 a month.
Anyone who wants to test serious LinkedIn automation properly before paying. Two weeks is enough to see real replies, and our Aimfox review explains why we rate it 5 out of 5.

Best for: Founders who want AI-personalised LinkedIn messages
Salee, which now trades as Linxa, has one of the few genuinely free plans worth using. Its Smart Inbox finds replies you missed, flags hot leads and drafts answers, with no time limit.
Salee's free Inbox plan includes the Smart Inbox, missed-reply and hot-lead detection, AI reply drafts and 200 smart follow-ups a month. Outreach, at $39 a month, adds lead sources and multi-step AI sequences, and Team at $49 per LinkedIn account adds a shared workspace and CRM.
Connect your LinkedIn account and the Smart Inbox organises your conversations, highlights people waiting for an answer and suggests replies you can edit and send. Prospecting campaigns sit on the paid plans.
Founders and sellers whose LinkedIn inbox is already busy and who want help keeping up with replies before paying for outreach.
Price from Free, Outreach $39/month

Best for: HubSpot users wanting cheap LinkedIn sequences
LeadConnect's Free Forever plan actually automates outreach, which is unusual. The allowance is small, but it keeps running every day without a deadline.
On LeadConnect's free plan you get up to 2 invitations and 6 message credits a day and 5 templates. Professional, at $25.95 a month, raises that to 30 invites and 90 messages daily, and the top Ultimate plan allows up to 100 invites and 300 messages a day.
The Chrome extension sends connection requests with a personal note, follows up with people who accept but stay silent, and stops when they reply. With one click you can push a prospect and the whole conversation into HubSpot.
Solo sellers who want a slow, steady trickle of automated follow-ups for free, especially if they use HubSpot. It lacks the warmup and IP protection of bigger platforms.

Best for: Hands-on power users and data-minded recruiters
Linked Helper lets you try its full Pro plan free for 14 days, with every feature and no daily caps. It's the most capable free trial for people who like to tinker.
During the trial you get more than 30 automation actions, message sequences, data enrichment, email finding and a built-in CRM. Once the two weeks are up, the cheapest paid option runs $15 a month with data kept on your own machine; online storage costs $29.90 and the fuller Pro tier $59.90.
Download the desktop app, connect LinkedIn and build campaigns that invite, message, visit and scrape. Everything it touches lands in its CRM. Because it runs on your computer, campaigns pause when the machine is off. If that's a deal-breaker, see our Linked Helper alternatives.
Power users and recruiters who want to explore a lot of automation for free before committing to a cheap paid plan.
Price from $15/month

Best for: Small teams selling into Europe
Kaspr isn't an outreach tool, but its free plan is one of the most useful freebies for LinkedIn prospecting. It reveals emails and phone numbers on profiles each month at no cost.
Without paying, each month brings enough credits to unlock about two dozen contacts, mostly business emails plus a few phone numbers. Upgrading to the $65 Starter seat makes business emails unlimited, and the $99 Business seat suits people who mainly phone their prospects.
Install the Kaspr Chrome extension and click the Kaspr button on a LinkedIn profile to see the contact details it finds. Save leads to lists or send them to your CRM, then reach out by email or phone.
Anyone who wants to move a LinkedIn conversation to email or a call without paying, especially when selling into Europe.
Price from Free, paid plans from $65/month
Running automation costs money for the companies that build it, so completely free, unlimited tools are almost non-existent. What you'll find instead are free plans with small daily allowances and generous trials that unlock everything for a week or two.
That isn't a bad thing. A two-week trial of a strong paid tool usually tells you more than months on a limited free plan, and you can stop before paying anything. If you'd like to compare paid options afterwards, our full list of LinkedIn automation reviews scores each one.
| Tool | Type of free access | How long | Main limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aimfox | Full trial | 14 days | Ends after two weeks |
| Salee (Linxa) | Free Inbox plan | No time limit | No prospecting campaigns |
| LeadConnect | Free Forever plan | No time limit | 2 invites, 6 messages a day |
| Linked Helper | Full Pro trial | 14 days | Ends after two weeks |
| Kaspr | Free plan | No time limit | Small monthly credit allowance |
The biggest cost of a free automation tool is rarely money. It's your LinkedIn account. LinkedIn restricts accounts that use software to send activity automatically, and its page on LinkedIn's automation rules explains why.
Unknown free extensions are the riskiest, because they often skip the pacing and limits that established tools build in. LinkedIn also keeps a page on LinkedIn's prohibited software that's worth reading before you install anything.
Never give a free tool your LinkedIn password unless you trust the company and understand how it stores it. Established tools connect without asking you to share it by email or chat.
Start with a full trial of the tool you'd most like to use long term, and run one small, well-targeted campaign during it. Measure acceptance and reply rates rather than how many invitations went out. If you later move to a paid plan, our ranking of the best automation tools shows where your money goes furthest.
Before the trial starts, tidy your profile. A clear photo, a headline that says who you help and a few recent posts make people far more likely to accept an invitation, and that matters more than any setting inside the tool. Write two or three short message versions too, so you can see which one earns replies during the free period.
Alongside it, keep a free plan running for the jobs that don't need much volume: Salee's inbox for replies, Kaspr for finding emails or LeadConnect for a few daily follow-ups. Together they cover a lot without a bill.
When the trial ends, decide based on results. If replies came in and your account stayed healthy, the paid plan has earned its place; our review method explains what we look for when we score these tools.
A free plan has no end date but strict limits. A trial gives you the full product for a short time. Use trials to judge a tool properly and free plans for light, ongoing use.
Free plans often cap you at a handful of invitations or messages a day. That's fine for testing or a slow drip, but not for a real campaign.
The free version is only useful if the paid plan fits your budget when you outgrow it. Check the first paid tier before you invest time in setup.
Free tools still act on your LinkedIn account. Built-in warmup, limits and careful pacing matter more than saving a few dollars.
Be wary of unknown free extensions that want your LinkedIn password or broad browser access. Stick to established tools with clear pricing pages.
We started wide. We listed the tools people use most for this job, then dropped any that have shut down or no longer do what they claim.
We checked each tool's own site. Features, limits and monthly prices come straight from the company, on the date shown at the top.
We read what users say. App store and review-site feedback helped us spot problems the sales pages leave out.
We scored and ranked them. Each score reflects how well the tool does the job, how safe it is for your account, and what it costs.
Not one without limits. LeadConnect's Free Forever plan automates a few invitations and messages a day, and Salee's free Inbox plan helps with replies. For full automation, a free trial such as Aimfox's 14 days is the best way to start.
For a full test of proper automation, Aimfox's 14-day trial with no card is the strongest option. For something free with no end date, LeadConnect and Salee's Inbox plan are the most useful.
Not for the tools on this list. Aimfox, Linked Helper and Kaspr all let you start without entering a card, and LeadConnect and Salee have free plans.
Any tool that automates activity on LinkedIn carries some risk, free or paid. Established tools with built-in limits are safer than unknown free extensions.
Your campaigns stop until you pick a paid plan. Aimfox costs $49 a month per seat and Linked Helper starts at $15, so check the price you'd pay before you set up long campaigns.
No. Kaspr finds emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn profiles. It's on this list because its free plan is one of the most useful free tools for LinkedIn prospecting.
