TOP LIST · LINKEDIN AUTOMATION
Engagement pods promise more likes and comments on your LinkedIn posts, but LinkedIn doesn't allow software that automates activity on its site. We compared the main pod tools and a safer alternative on price, how the engagement is created and the risk to your account, then ranked them honestly.

Taplio isn't a pod. It's ranked first because it builds the engagement pods try to fake, without the account risk.

Best for: Creators and founders building a personal brand on LinkedIn
Taplio is the safer route to the same goal. Better posts and real conversations earn engagement that LinkedIn rewards, with none of the risk of an automated pod.
Taplio isn't a pod. It's an all-in-one LinkedIn content tool, and it's our top pick here because it builds the engagement that pods fake. Starter costs $39 a month for scheduling, analytics and inspiration; Growth, at $69 a month, adds AI writing and faster replies and comments; Pro is $199 a month. There's a 7-day trial with Pro access. See our Taplio review for more.
Taplio shows you posts that perform well in your niche, helps you write and schedule your own, and makes it faster to reply to and comment on other people's posts. Analytics show which posts earn engagement, so you can do more of what works.
Anyone who wants more reach on LinkedIn without the risk of pods: creators, founders and personal-brand builders.

Best for: Creators who want automatic likes and comments on new posts
Podawaa is the most complete pod tool, with gradual delivery and private pods that look more natural. It's still automated engagement, so the account risk doesn't go away.
Podawaa has a free plan with 5 boosts a month and no card. Paid plans start at €29 a month, with extra LinkedIn accounts from €19 a month each. The Scale plan, at €59 a month, adds engagement on every post, AI comments and Growth Autopilot, while AI post writing and the comment inbox begin on Accelerate at €89 a month.
Podawaa's Growth Autopilot spots each new post and boosts it with likes and comments, delivered gradually rather than all at once. You can use the open community or a private pod for your own team, and higher plans add AI comments, AI post writing and a comment inbox.
Creators and small teams who want automatic engagement on every post and the option to keep it within a private group.
Price from Free; paid from €29/month

Best for: Professionals who want comments from a vetted community
Engage AI is the most human option among the pods. It costs more than automated tools, and paid engagement still isn't the same as an audience that found you on its own.
Engage AI promises 15 comments from real business owners and professionals on each post, plus likes. The Individual plan costs $50 a month, and a Group plan for agencies, teams or communities costs $250 a month with unlimited clients. Because the engagement comes from people rather than a script, it reads more naturally than most pods.
You join Engage AI's engagement community, and its software assigns each of your posts to a mix of community members, who leave comments and likes. You keep posting as normal, and the community activity arrives on every post you share.
Consultants and founders who want real professionals to comment on their posts and would rather avoid automated likes.
Price from $50/month

Best for: Creators testing pods on a small scale
Linkboost makes pods easy to try for free, but it also sells likes, and its automated engagement carries the same account risk as other pods. Use it cautiously, if at all.
Linkboost's free plan gives you 3 boosted posts a month and one pod per boost. On monthly billing, paid plans cost $39 a month for 30 posts and five pods per boost, and $59 a month for 60 posts and 20 pods per boost. Its site also has a separate page for buying LinkedIn likes, which tells you how close pods sit to paid engagement.
You join pods inside Linkboost and, when you publish, pod members' engagement and AI-written comments are sent to your post in the first hour after it goes live. Smart targeting decides which pods see each post, and analytics show results at post and pod level.
Creators who want to test pods on a small scale before paying anything.

Best for: Nobody who wants to keep their LinkedIn reach safe
Lempod is cheap, but it's the riskiest option here. With its extension listing unavailable and automated engagement against LinkedIn's rules, we'd steer clear.
Lempod's plans start at $9.99 a month for its Lite tier, with Starter at $14.99 and higher tiers that add more Gold credits and engagements. We gave it 1.5 out of 5. Automatic likes and comments break LinkedIn's terms, and the extension couldn't be found in the Chrome Web Store when we looked. Our Lempod review explains why we don't recommend it.
Lempod runs pods through a browser extension: when you publish, other members' accounts like and comment on your post automatically, and you spend credits that you earn back by engaging with theirs.
Experienced users who already understand the risks of automated pods and want the cheapest way to try one.
Price from $9.99/month
LinkedIn shows a new post to a small group first and watches how they react. Posts that get early likes and comments are shown to more people. Engagement pods try to game that first hour by lining up a group of accounts to react straight away.
Pods come in two forms. Manual pods are chat groups where members agree to engage with each other by hand. Automated pods use software, often a Chrome extension for LinkedIn, so members' accounts like and comment without them lifting a finger. The automated kind is the one that clashes most directly with LinkedIn's rules. If you also post on Instagram, we rank Instagram engagement pods separately.
Before joining any pod, it's worth knowing where LinkedIn stands. LinkedIn's help centre leaves little room for doubt: tools that act on your account without you are against its terms.
LinkedIn's guidance bars outside software and browser add-ons that collect data from the site, alter its pages or perform actions for members automatically.

That's why our list is ranked by how much risk each option carries, not by how many likes it promises. The same concern applies to LinkedIn outreach automation; our Aimfox review shows how a tool built with weekly limits handles it for prospecting.

Prices were checked on each tool's own site on October 16, 2026, on monthly billing. Podawaa lists its prices in euros.
Software that likes and comments for you is the riskiest form of pod. Human communities and content tools carry far less risk.
Pods often bring reactions from people outside your niche. If you want leads, engagement from your actual buyers matters more than the total count.
Podawaa's private pods let your own team engage with each other's posts, which looks more natural than strangers.
Podawaa and Linkboost have free plans, so you can see the effect before paying anything.
Pods can't fix posts nobody wants to read. Put most of your effort into content and conversations.
Pods treat the symptom, early engagement, rather than the cause: content your audience actually wants to react to. These habits build the real thing, and they compound over time.
It also helps to measure the right thing. Likes are easy to count, but they rarely turn into business. Track how many profile views, connection requests and direct messages each post brings from the kind of people you want to work with. A post with fewer reactions that starts two real conversations is worth more than one that pulls hundreds of likes from strangers in a pod.
If you'd like help with the writing side, we compare tools for that in our list of LinkedIn content tools.
We started wide. We listed the tools people use most for this job, then dropped any that have shut down or no longer do what they claim.
We checked each tool's own site. Features, limits and monthly prices come straight from the company, on the date shown at the top.
We read what users say. App store and review-site feedback helped us spot problems the sales pages leave out.
We scored and ranked them. Each score reflects how well the tool does the job, how safe it is for your account, and what it costs.
An engagement pod is a circle of LinkedIn members who promise to react to one another's posts in the minutes after they go live, to push those posts in front of more people. Some pods are run by hand in chat groups; others use tools that do it automatically.
They carry real risk. Automated pods use exactly the kind of outside software LinkedIn prohibits, because it acts on your account without you. Human pods break no automation rule, but LinkedIn is built to favour genuine engagement, so their effect is limited.
They can lift early likes and comments, but the engagement often comes from people outside your audience. That can bring irrelevant views rather than leads, and engagement that looks coordinated may be discounted.
Taplio is our top pick because it helps you earn engagement rather than fake it. Among actual pod tools, Podawaa is the most complete, and Engage AI is the most human.
Post consistently on one topic, answer comments quickly while the post is new, and spend a few minutes a day leaving thoughtful comments on posts from people your buyers follow. A content tool such as Taplio makes that routine faster.
