Best for: Founders who want posts, outreach and their LinkedIn inbox handled together
Windmill Growth turns one weekly interview into up to five posts a week, plus outreach and inbox handling, at a published $3,999 a month.
Windmill Growth is a LinkedIn-only agency that publishes its prices, which few ghostwriting services do. Its ghostwriting is part of the Founder OS plan at $3,999 a month, which also covers a personal branding plan, profile optimisation, outreach campaigns and inbox management. Cheaper plans exist, but they cover engagement ($650 a month) or outbound ($999 a month) rather than writing. It takes on only three new clients a month.
On Founder OS you give one 45-minute interview a week. Windmill writes up to five posts a week from what you said, rebuilds your profile, runs outreach to your ideal buyers from your profile and manages your inbox, booking qualified meetings into your calendar. You approve the strategy and keep control of what goes out.
Founders who want their posts, LinkedIn outreach and inbox handled together, and who value knowing the price before the first call.

Best for: Funded B2B companies that want executive thought leadership at scale
Storyarb builds executive thought leadership from real interviews, with published tiers from $4,999 a month. It suits funded teams that can commit to at least six months.
Storyarb is a premium content agency that publishes its prices. The Executive tier costs $4,999 a month for 15 posts and is designed for B2B founders and executives; it requires a specific point of contact and at least two executives, with a 6-month minimum. Essentials, at $9,999 a month, adds a newsletter programme, and Scale, at $13,999 a month, extends content across channels with a 12-month minimum.
Every piece starts with an interview, with your executives, your customers or your target accounts, so the posts are built on original insight rather than generic takes. Social posts then feed a newsletter, and longer content is planned to be found through search and AI answers.
Funded B2B companies that want two or more executives building thought leadership, often alongside a newsletter.

Best for: B2B SaaS founders who want LinkedIn content tied to pipeline
Understory writes and posts 16 to 30 posts a month after one voice interview, and reports results in pipeline rather than likes. You'll need to ask for a quote.
Understory is a B2B growth agency whose LinkedIn content service is built for founders who don't want to open LinkedIn at all. It monitors posts from your ideal customers and the top voices in your space for proven angles, then writes original posts around your point of view. Results are reported as followers in your target market, inbound messages, meetings and deals rather than likes. Pricing is a flat retainer based on the services you choose, and it is not published.
You start with one 60 to 90 minute voice interview and a calibration round. The team then writes, designs, schedules and posts 16 to 30 posts a month for your approval, grows your network among your ideal buyers and can turn the people engaging with your posts into conversations through an add-on.
B2B SaaS founders who want a high volume of posts written in their voice, with the audience growth and pipeline tracking built around them.

Best for: B2B teams that want LinkedIn content as part of a full go-to-market program
RevBoss pairs done-for-you LinkedIn content with audience building and follow-up campaigns, so posts turn into sales conversations. It's broader, and pricier, than ghostwriting alone.
RevBoss is a go-to-market agency, and ghostwriting is one part of its founder-led marketing programme rather than a standalone service. That suits companies that want the posts to lead somewhere: the same team builds your audience and turns engagement into conversations. RevBoss execution programs start at $3,000 a month on month-to-month agreements, with discounts for longer terms, and a fixed-fee diagnostic is available as a first step.
Its Audience System runs in three parts. Done-for-you content turns your expertise into LinkedIn posts, connection work grows an audience of the buyers you want, and activation campaigns pick up who engages with your posts, qualify them against your ideal customer and follow up. Execution programs include onboarding and a 90-day roadmap.
B2B companies that want founder-led LinkedIn content to feed directly into audience building and sales conversations, run by one team.

Best for: Testing LinkedIn ghostwriting on a small budget
Fiverr lets you hire a freelance LinkedIn writer per project with no retainer. It's the cheapest way to test ghostwriting, as long as you're prepared to vet and manage the writer.
Fiverr is a freelance marketplace rather than an agency, so there is no single price or process. Writers set their own packages, which makes it by far the cheapest way to test ghostwriting, and you only pay for the work you order with no retainer. The trade-off is that quality ranges widely, and you take on the agency's job yourself: choosing the writer, briefing them, checking the drafts and keeping your voice consistent.
You search the marketplace for LinkedIn writers, compare their portfolios, reviews and packages, and order a set number of posts or a profile rewrite. You brief the writer, review drafts and post them yourself. Fiverr Pro is a separate tier of vetted freelancers if you want more assurance on quality.
Founders and freelancers who want to try ghostwriting for a few posts before committing to a monthly retainer, and who are willing to vet writers themselves.

A LinkedIn ghostwriter interviews you, turns your ideas into story-driven posts in your voice and, depending on the service, schedules or publishes them for you. The best ones also help the posts reach the right people, because a well-written post that only your colleagues see won't move your business.
We looked at eight ghostwriting services and marketplaces. Some names on other lists led to parked or unrelated domains, and others turned out to be lead-generation agencies rather than writers, so they aren't here (we cover LinkedIn lead generation tools separately).
Most ghostwriting agencies quote after a sales call. Here's what the services on this list publish.
| Service | Starting price | Posts included | Commitment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windmill Growth | $3,999 a month | Up to 5 a week | Not stated |
| Storyarb | $4,999 a month | 15 a month | 6 months minimum |
| Understory | Not published | 16 to 30 a month | Retainer |
| RevBoss | $3,000 a month | Part of a program | Month to month |
| Fiverr | Varies | Per order | None |
Every service asks for your time in some form. Plan for it before you sign.
Voice interview Expect a long first interview, often 60 to 90 minutes, so the writer learns your story, opinions and way of speaking.
Calibration round The first drafts usually need the most changes. Be specific about what sounds wrong, so the next round is closer.
Weekly rhythm Most services then need a short interview each week or month, plus a few minutes to approve each batch.
Review results Reach usually improves in the first month, while meetings and deals take longer to show up. Agree up front which numbers you'll judge the service on.
Some services only write; others also post, connect and message from your profile. That second group needs access to your account, and account sharing rules in LinkedIn's user agreement say members shouldn't share their account with anyone else.
Authorship is the other question. Having help with writing is common, but LinkedIn's authenticity rules expect members to post truthful information under their real identity. Approve every post and make sure each story and result is genuinely yours.
Before you sign, ask exactly how the service publishes and messages: drafts you post yourself carry the least risk to your account.
If the budget for a ghostwriter is out of reach, AI writing tools can draft posts in your voice for around $39 a month.
If you'd rather write yourself but faster, our list of LinkedIn writing tools covers editors, schedulers and analytics.

Writing only, writing plus posting, or writing plus outreach and inbox handling are very different jobs. Pay for the scope you need.
Find out how many interviews and approval rounds the service needs from you each month, and whether that fits your calendar.
Ask whether they'll need to log in to your LinkedIn account, or whether they send drafts for you to post.
Likes are easy to report. Ask how the service measures followers in your target market, conversations and meetings.
We started wide. We listed the tools people use most for this job, then dropped any that have shut down or no longer do what they claim.
We checked each tool's own site. Features, limits and monthly prices come straight from the company, on the date shown at the top.
We read what users say. App store and review-site feedback helped us spot problems the sales pages leave out.
We scored and ranked them. Each score reflects how well the tool does the job, how safe it is for your account, and what it costs.
Windmill Growth is our top pick, because it publishes its prices and its Founder OS plan covers writing, outreach and inbox handling for $3,999 a month. Storyarb is the strongest choice for funded teams with several executives, and Understory suits SaaS founders who want a high volume of posts.
Agency retainers on this list start at $3,000 to $4,999 a month, and most agencies don't publish prices at all. Freelancers on marketplaces like Fiverr charge per project and cost far less, but you manage them yourself.
Usually one interview a week or month, plus time to approve drafts. Windmill asks for 45 minutes a week, and Understory starts with a 60 to 90 minute voice interview.
LinkedIn's user agreement says you shouldn't share your account with anyone else. Ask any service how it publishes: some send drafts for you to post or approve, while others post and message from your profile, which means account access.
If you have ideas and a little time to edit, an AI post generator costing around $39 a month gets you most of the way. A ghostwriter makes sense when you have no time to write and the budget to match.
Yes, as long as the ideas and experiences are genuinely yours. LinkedIn's policies ask members to share information that is real and authentic, so approve every post and correct anything that isn't true for you.
