Linked Helper review: features, pricing and verdict

3.5/5

Our score: 3.5/5

It depends

Short version: Linked Helper is a powerful desktop tool that automates LinkedIn outreach, data scraping and enrichment, from $15 a month. It's great value for hands-on users, but it runs on your own computer, takes real setup and leaves safety limits up to you. For a simpler, safer cloud tool, try Aimfox first.

What is Linked Helper?

Linked Helper is desktop automation software for LinkedIn. It sends invitations and message sequences, scrapes and enriches profile and company data, finds emails, and keeps everything in a built-in CRM.

It has been around for years and has a loyal following: it holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot from more than 450 reviews, and independent reviewers count it among the most popular LinkedIn automation tools on G2.

How Linked Helper works

Linked Helper is installed on your computer, or on a virtual server, and drives LinkedIn from there. You build campaigns from a large library of actions, and the software works through them on a schedule with randomised timing.

Step 1: Install the app

Install the desktop app on your computer or on a VPS, and choose whether workspace data is stored locally or in Linked Helper's cloud.

Step 2: Gather and enrich leads

Collect leads from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, then enrich them with 50+ data points, including emails, without visiting each profile.

Step 3: Design campaigns

Build campaigns from 30+ action types or ready-made templates: invitations, messages, InMails, follow-ups, endorsements and more.

Step 4: Personalise with AI

Use AI to write a personalised invitation and follow-up for each person from their profile data. Drafts wait for your approval before sending.

Step 5: Schedule and track

Set working hours and randomised start times, then follow results in the dashboard, the unified inbox and the built-in CRM.

Who is Linked Helper best for?

Linked Helper is built for hands-on users: growth marketers, recruiters using LinkedIn automation and data-minded salespeople who like configuring things themselves. If you want something that just works out of the box, it will feel like more effort than it's worth.

A good fit if you

  • Want deep control over every campaign setting
  • Need profile and company data enrichment
  • Are comfortable with desktop software
  • Want the lowest possible price on a long term

Skip it if you

  • Want a simple, guided web app
  • Don't want to keep a computer or VPS running
  • Prefer one flat price without discount maths
  • Need hands-off safety limits set for you

Why use Linked Helper at all?

Choose Linked Helper if you want to automate more than outreach. Its data features, such as full-profile scraping and enrichment with 50+ data points, make it as much a lead research tool as a messaging tool.

It's also hard to beat on price for long-term users. Buying a 12-month term for a team can bring the effective cost down to a few dollars per licence a month.

If you'd prefer something that runs in the cloud with a simpler setup, our Dux-Soup review covers a long-running alternative with a cloud plan.

For multichannel sequences across LinkedIn, email and X, MeetAlfred is worth comparing too.

Budget some time for learning. Linked Helper's depth is its strength, but its many settings, action types and data options take a while to master, and most of the value comes once you've built campaigns around your own workflow.

How we reviewed it

We wrote this Linked Helper review from the tool's own site, feature comparison and pricing calculator, checked on October 16, 2026, using the one-month term so prices reflect month-to-month billing.

We added what users and independent reviewers report, the Linked Helper article we published previously, and a comparison with other LinkedIn automation software on setup effort, data features and safety. The full scoring method explains how every rating out of 5 works.

What we liked

Huge feature set

With more than 30 action types, data enrichment, scraping and CRM export, Linked Helper can do almost anything you'd want to automate on LinkedIn.

Cheap for what you get

Standard starts at $15 a month with local storage, and long terms combined with volume discounts can cut the price by more than half.

AI with a human check

AI-written invitations and follow-ups wait as drafts for you to review, so nothing goes out without your approval.

What we didn't like

Runs on your machine

Linked Helper is desktop software, even on the cloud storage plans. Campaigns run on your own computer or a virtual server you manage, so there's more setup and upkeep than with a fully cloud-based tool.

Confusing pricing

With two plans, two storage types, four term lengths and volume discounts that multiply, working out what you'll actually pay takes effort. Cloud storage doubles the base price.

What we liked

  • Pro: 30+ actions and data enrichment
  • Pro: From $15 a month
  • Pro: AI drafts you approve first

What we didn't like

  • Con: Desktop software to run yourself
  • Con: Confusing pricing

Linked Helper pricing

Linked Helper plans
PlanPriceWhat you get
Standard (local storage)$15/monthDesktop automation, campaigns, AI messages, data enrichment; data kept on one device
Standard (cloud storage)$29.90/monthSame features with cloud backup and easy team sharing
Pro (cloud storage)$59.90/monthMore AI and data credits and extra advanced features

Prices are per licence on a one-month term. Longer terms cut the price by 11% (3 months), 33% (6 months) or 45% (12 months), and volume discounts of up to 50% stack on top for licences bought together.

Pro adds more AI credits and data credits each month: 3,100 data credits instead of 620 on Standard. Extra credits can be bought and never expire.

Prices checked October 16, 2026.

Is Linked Helper safe?

Because Linked Helper runs on your own computer, LinkedIn sees activity coming from your usual device and connection, and you control working hours, randomised start times and timeouts. That's a different approach from cloud tools with their own IP addresses.

It also puts the responsibility on you. There are no strict weekly limits imposed for your protection, and LinkedIn's automation help makes clear that automation isn't allowed. Even Linked Helper's own documentation warns that LinkedIn can apply limits or restrictions to individual accounts.

Read LinkedIn's disallowed software list, keep daily actions low, and use working-hour settings so activity looks like a normal day.

Linked Helper review: our verdict

Linked Helper packs more features into a low price than almost any rival, and its many fans on review sites reflect that. But desktop software, confusing pricing and safety that depends on your own discipline make it a tool for experienced users. Everyone else will be happier with the cloud tools at the top of our LinkedIn software reviews.

Does Platypus recommend Linked Helper?

It depends

Excellent value and depth for power users, but too much setup and responsibility for most people.

It's desktop software that automates LinkedIn outreach and data collection: invitations, messages, follow-up sequences, profile scraping, email finding and data enrichment, with AI help for writing messages.

How much does Linked Helper cost?

On a one-month term, Standard costs $15 per licence a month with local data storage or $29.90 with cloud storage, and Pro costs $59.90 a month with cloud storage. Longer terms and bigger teams get discounts of up to 50%.

Both versions run the same desktop software. Local keeps your workspace data on one device; Cloud backs it up online so you can switch devices and share it with a team.

If you'd rather not run desktop software, Aimfox is our top pick among Linked Helper alternatives: fully cloud-based, with hard weekly limits and local IPs built in.

LinkedIn reviews

I review LinkedIn automation and outreach tools. I care about two things: whether a tool actually gets you replies, and whether it keeps your account safe. If a tool pushes LinkedIn's limits, I'll tell you plainly.
