CASE FILE · LINKEDIN AUTOMATION
Our score: 3.5/5
It dependsShort version: Dux-Soup, now sold as STACKED, is one of the longest-running LinkedIn automation tools, with solid drip campaigns and excellent CRM integrations. The Local version costs $55 a month, but the Cloud version is $99, and the tool feels dated next to newer cloud rivals. Our Aimfox review covers a cheaper, safer cloud option.
Dux-Soup is one of the original LinkedIn automation tools, now sold as STACKED, powered by Dux-Soup. It automates drip campaigns of profile visits, invitations, messages and other actions, and manages leads in one place.
The relaunch gave it two ways to run: a desktop app on your own Mac or Windows machine, or a cloud version that runs on Dux-Soup's infrastructure around the clock.
Dux-Soup now comes as STACKED, one product you can run in two ways: as a desktop app on your own machine, or in the cloud. Either way, you build drip campaigns and let them run within the delays you set.
Pick STACKED Local, a desktop app for Mac or Windows, or STACKED Cloud, which runs on Dux-Soup's own managed infrastructure.
Find prospects on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter and add them to a campaign.
Build a drip sequence of up to 12 actions, including visits, invitations, messages, InMails, endorsements, follows and post likes, with custom delays between steps.
Use AI to personalise each message, and let the tool detect replies and pause campaigns for people who respond.
Follow each prospect's progress, tag and search profiles, export lead lists, and sync contacts with your CRM.
Dux-Soup suits sellers and teams who want a proven, CRM-friendly tool for steady drip campaigns, and who can pick between running it on their own machine or paying more for the cloud. Bargain hunters and beginners have friendlier options.
Dux-Soup is a safe bet if you want something proven. Its long history, steady user ratings and simple drip logic appeal to teams that don't want to gamble on newer, less tested software.
Its integrations are the standout. If your team lives in Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive, Dux-Soup can push LinkedIn activity straight into the system you already use.
For a multichannel alternative that adds email and X steps, see our MeetAlfred review.
If you'd like an outreach tool focused on sales teams with a cloud setup, Salesflow is another option we've reviewed.
If you're deciding between the two versions, think about how you work. The Local app is cheaper but only runs while your computer is on, which suits people at their desk all day. The Cloud version costs more but keeps campaigns running overnight and while you travel.
Yearly billing takes 25% off either version, so if you're confident Dux-Soup fits your process after a few weeks, switching to annual payments is the easiest way to cut the cost.

Our Dux-Soup review draws on the official Dux-Soup website and STACKED pricing page, checked on October 16, 2026, along with feedback from users and independent reviewers on review sites.
We also compared it with our earlier Dux-Soup post and with other LinkedIn outreach tools on price, where the automation runs and how much safety is built in. You can read our scoring approach to see how we reach every score out of 5.
Dux-Soup is one of the longest-running LinkedIn automation tools, and it holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot.
Native connections to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Freshsales, HighLevel, Slack, Zapier and Make make it easy to fit into an existing sales stack.
You can run it locally for $55 a month or let it run in the cloud for $99, depending on whether you want to keep a machine on.
The cheaper Local version needs your own computer running to work. Moving to the Cloud version, which runs without a machine switched on, almost doubles the price to $99 a month per seat.
Independent reviewers point out that the tool's browser-based roots show, and that newer rivals were designed around the cloud from day one, with more lead sources and shared inboxes.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| STACKED Local | $55/month | Desktop app for Mac or Windows, unlimited campaigns, AI personalisation, lead management, integrations |
| STACKED Cloud | $99/month | Everything in Local, running on managed cloud infrastructure with no machine needed |
Each seat is billed monthly at the prices above. Choosing yearly billing saves 25%, bringing Local to $41.25 and Cloud to $74.17 a month, paid upfront.
The pricing page doesn't mention a free trial. Billing model and seat count are chosen at checkout.

Dux-Soup lets you set custom delays between actions, pauses campaigns when someone replies, and on the Cloud plan adds what it calls robust security and account management, with campaigns monitored on its own infrastructure.
There are no hard weekly caps advertised to protect you, so staying at a sensible pace is up to you. Bear in mind that LinkedIn's automation rules don't permit third-party automation, so restrictions remain possible with any tool.
Read LinkedIn's third-party tools page, keep delays between actions generous, and grow your daily volume slowly.

Dux-Soup has earned its reputation over many years, and its integrations remain a real strength. But you pay $99 a month for the cloud version, and newer tools offer more lead sources, stronger built-in limits and lower prices. It's worth a look if your CRM setup depends on it; otherwise start with the leaders in our LinkedIn automation guide.
Reliable and CRM-friendly, but the cloud plan is expensive and newer tools do more for less.
