CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Stormlikes sells followers, likes and views in quick one-off packages, and what it delivered looked like bot traffic: nearly 10,000 followers arrived, engagement plunged from 3.7% to 0.7% and 594 disappeared within two weeks. For an audience of genuine people, see how Flock Social works.
Stormlikes sells followers, likes and views for Instagram and TikTok. It describes them as coming from real users, says it has more than 50,000 customers, and offers automatic likes and views for every new post.
Its site is at stormlikes.com. A separate stormlikes.net exists as an unrelated research site. Either way, Stormlikes is a follower shop rather than one of the Instagram growth tools designed to get you discovered.
Stormlikes is a checkout, not a growth plan. You choose a quantity, give your username and pay, and the order starts within about a minute. Automatic options add likes or views to every new post you publish.
Choose followers, likes or views for Instagram or TikTok. A quiz can suggest a package size, including one to reach your next round number.
Enter your username. Stormlikes checks the profile is public; no password or 2FA is needed.
Pay by card or Apple Pay and receive a live tracking link.
Delivery starts within 60 seconds, and you can choose a slower speed so growth looks gradual.
For 30 days, drops are topped up automatically. After that, losses are yours to keep.
Stormlikes is built for buying a number: a round follower milestone, likes on a new Reel, views on a launch. It's quick and simple, but our test showed the followers it supplies do nothing for engagement and leave fast.
People use Stormlikes to hit a visible milestone, such as turning 4,300 followers into 5K, or to make a launch post look busy. Its package quiz is designed around exactly that.
The cost shows up later. When most of your new followers never react, your engagement rate sinks and fewer people get to see your posts, which works against the visibility you paid for. Our guide to growing engaged audiences explains how to avoid that trap.
Other follower sellers in this round delivered the same pattern. Our Twicsy review covers a similar package service.
Thunderclap is another of the services we tested in the same batch.
We ran Stormlikes on a test profile for 30 days as part of our September to October 2026 round. The account began at 2,295 followers, and we posted on our normal schedule throughout.
Followers, engagement rate and 30-day reach were logged daily from Instagram Insights. After the test ended we gave it 14 days, then counted how many of the purchased followers had already left.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 2,295 | 12,095 |
| Engagement rate | 3.7% | 0.7% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 8,478 | 8,475 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 594 |
Checkout takes under a minute and orders begin almost immediately, with live tracking.
Stormlikes only asks for a username, never your password or 2FA codes.
Our follower count leapt from 2,295 to 12,095, yet engagement plunged from 3.7% to 0.7% and reach didn't move at all. Then 594 followers vanished within two weeks of stopping, the biggest loss in this group of tests. Stormlikes calls them real, active followers; they behaved like bots.
Trustpilot has taken down Stormlikes' profile for breaching its guidelines. The 4.9 rating shown on its own site can't be checked anywhere independent.
The followers page promises "Nobody will know you bought them" and a 30-day automatic refill for drops. Both features exist because bought followers are meant to look organic and tend to disappear.
The money-back guarantee sounds generous, but the terms rule out any order already delivered and confirmed, which covers most of them.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram followers | From $2.99 one-off | Starting package; 500 followers for $6.99; 30-day automatic refill |
| Automatic likes | From $1.19 per post | Likes added to each new post or Reel within a minute |
| Automatic views | From $1.49 per post | Views added to each new video |
Follower, like and view packages are bought once, with no monthly plan on offer. Automatic likes and views are charged per eligible new post rather than per month.
You have 30 days to request a refund, although orders already delivered and confirmed don't qualify. Follower orders include 30 days of automatic refills.
Prices checked October 15, 2026.
Stormlikes doesn't need your password, so it can't take over your account. What it can do is fill your follower list with accounts that never engage, and when Instagram removes inauthentic accounts, those followers go too.
Its terms say you're responsible for everything done under your account. Take a look at Instagram's service terms before paying any follower seller.
Turn on Instagram's login protection and focus spending on growth that brings real people.

Stormlikes delivers exactly what it sells, a bigger number, very quickly. But the followers behaved like bots: engagement collapsed, reach stood still and we lost more followers after stopping than with any other service in this round. With its Trustpilot profile removed and refunds unavailable once orders are delivered, it's not worth it. Pick one of the Instagram services ranked instead.
Fast, cheap bot followers that crashed our engagement and left within weeks. Choose Flock Social or Kicksta instead.
1/5Our results say no. Stormlikes added 9,800 followers in 30 days, but engagement dropped from 3.7% to 0.7%, reach stayed flat, and 594 had disappeared a fortnight after we stopped. Genuine people don't vanish like that; bots do.
It sells Instagram and TikTok followers, likes and views as one-off packages, plus automatic likes and views charged per new post.
Instagram followers start at $2.99, and 500 cost $6.99, as one-off purchases. Automatic likes start at $1.19 per post and automatic views at $1.49 per post.
No. It only needs your username, and your profile has to be public.
Requests are accepted for 30 days, though anything already delivered and confirmed is ruled out, along with free and promotional services.
Flock Social and Kicksta both grow your account through real people in your niche. Kicksta's followers lifted our engagement to 5.5% over a comparable month.
