CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Like4Like trades follows and likes between members for credits, and the followers we got acted like bots: upwards of 10,000 turned up, engagement dropped from 3.2% to 0.3% and 463 left within two weeks. For free growth that's checked, see our SocialFollow review.
Like4Like is a social media exchange that has been running since 2012. Members earn credits by liking, following and viewing each other's content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and more, and spend those credits on their own posts.
It also sells paid packages, so you can buy followers and likes without earning credits. Either way, it works very differently from the Instagram growth tools that help interested people find your profile.
Like4Like runs on credits. Members click through other people's posts and profiles to earn them, then spend them to have their own content liked or followed. Paid packages skip the clicking and put your order in a priority queue.
Create a free account and add the social profiles or posts you want to promote.
Like, follow or view other members' content to collect credits. Each action earns a small amount.
Spend credits so other members like or follow your content, or buy a package to skip the credit system.
Members follow you in return for their own credits, which is why many have no interest in your posts.
Counts can fall again as members reverse actions or accounts disappear, as Like4Like's risk page explains.
Like4Like suits people who want activity on a post and are happy to trade clicks for it. It doesn't suit anyone hoping for followers who care about their content, because the people following you are mostly doing it to earn credits.
Like4Like attracts people because the basic exchange is free and it's simple to understand. You click, you earn, you spend, and your numbers go up.
The catch is who is clicking. Members follow you to earn credits, so they have no reason to watch your Reels or comment on your posts. When much of your audience stays silent, Instagram quietly limits who sees your content. The walkthrough on growing real followers explains the better route.
Paid follower shops brought the same problem in our tests. Our MySocialFollowing review covers one that sells packages outright.
Stormlikes, another follower seller, left us with a similar gap between numbers and engagement.
A test account of ours used Like4Like throughout one month, beginning in September and ending in October 2026. It had 2,443 followers on day one, and the rest of our routine on Instagram stayed exactly as it was.
Instagram Insights gave us a daily log of followers, engagement and 30-day reach. Two weeks after stopping, we went back and counted the followers that had since dropped away.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 2,443 | 12,811 |
| Engagement rate | 3.2% | 0.3% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 10,180 | 10,294 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 463 |
You can use the exchange without paying anything, and you never have to share your password.
Its risk and transparency pages are unusually candid about why counts drop and what it can't guarantee.
Our account went from 2,443 to 12,811 followers, while engagement sank from 3.2% to 0.3% and reach hardly shifted. Two weeks after we stopped, 463 had already left. Like4Like says it uses no bots, but these followers behaved exactly like bots: present in the count, absent from every post.
Members follow and like you to earn credits, not because they like your content. Like4Like's own terms even have to forbid unfollowing after collecting credits, which tells you how little interest is behind each follow.
Like4Like scores 2.6 out of 5 from 75 reviews on Trustpilot. Recent reviewers complain that earning credits has become much harder while spending them is easy, and older ones describe credits not being added and unexplained suspensions.
Its own risk page warns that counts can change as members reverse actions and platforms audit activity, and the terms promise no permanent retention.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Credit exchange | Free | Earn credits by engaging with other members, then spend them on your content |
| Instagram followers | From $3.49 one-off | 100 followers with priority delivery; larger packages up to 10,000 |
There's no monthly plan. The exchange is free, and paid packages are one-off purchases that get bigger discounts, up to 50%, as the quantity grows.
Like4Like doesn't promise permanent retention or specific engagement, and eligible paid orders only qualify for a refill review within its support period.
Prices checked October 15, 2026.
Like4Like doesn't need your password, so your login stays private. The risk is in the activity: lots of follows from people who only want credits leave you with an audience that never engages, and Instagram notices that.
Like4Like's own risk page notes that networks audit and filter activity they decide not to display. It's worth reading Instagram's usage rules to see what the platform allows.
Switch on Instagram's two-factor feature for your account, whatever service you use.

Like4Like insists it uses real members and no bots, but what reached our account looked and acted like bot followers: a huge jump in numbers, almost no engagement and a quick decline once we stopped. Followers who only click for credits can't build an audience. You'll get much more from one of the recommended growth services we've tested.
Credit-chasing followers that behaved like bots and wrecked our engagement. Choose SocialFollow or Kicksta instead.
1.5/5The site says all interactions come from real members and it uses no bots. In our test, though, the followers behaved like bots: over 10,000 arrived, engagement fell from 3.2% to 0.3% and 463 were gone within two weeks of stopping.
It's an exchange network running since 2012. You earn credits by liking and following other members' content, then spend credits to get the same on yours. It also sells paid follower, like and view packages.
The credit exchange is free. Paid Instagram follower packages start at $3.49 for 100 as a one-off purchase, with discounts on larger orders.
No. You add your public profile or post link. You don't share your password.
Often not. Like4Like's own risk page says counts change as members reverse actions or accounts disappear, and its terms rule out any promise of permanent retention.
If you want something free, SocialFollow checks that follows stay in place and never asks for a password. For targeted, paid growth, Kicksta lifted our engagement to 5.5% over the same period.
