CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Boostlikes sells Instagram followers in one-off packages from £2.99, and its own FAQ admits they're bot-generated. Our test bore that out: thousands arrived, engagement collapsed and hundreds disappeared within two weeks. For real people at no cost, try SocialFollow's free exchange instead.
Boostlikes is a social media shop aimed mainly at UK buyers. It sells followers, likes, views and subscribers across a long list of platforms, including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify and Threads.
The live site runs at boostlikes.uk, with boostlikes.co pointing to it. It isn't a growth service in the sense of the Instagram growth services we usually recommend: there's no targeting, no engagement and no ongoing work, just packages of numbers.
There's no targeting or engagement involved. You choose a number, pay, and the followers are pushed to your profile over the following hours or days. Nothing about it depends on your content or niche.
Pick an Instagram follower package, from 250 up to 10,000 followers.
Enter your username or profile URL. No password is needed, but the account must be public.
Check out with PayPal, the only payment method the FAQ lists.
Delivery starts automatically and takes anything from six hours for small packages to five or six days for the largest.
Once the package is in, the job is done. There's no ongoing activity, reporting or targeting.
Boostlikes is a follower shop, and its own FAQ says the followers are bot-generated. That makes it a poor fit for anyone who wants an audience, and a risky one for any account you care about.
The pitch is social proof on demand. Its pages argue that a bigger follower count makes a profile look credible and attracts more followers on its own.
That only works if the new followers behave like people. When they're bot-generated, as the FAQ admits, they never like, comment or share, so your engagement rate falls and Instagram shows your posts to fewer real users.
The steps in our guide to earning followers organically take longer, but every follower they bring can actually see and respond to your posts.
Bulk automation software tends to end the same way. Our Rocketora review recorded the same pattern of rising numbers and falling engagement.
So did the desktop bot NinjaGram, whose followers dragged our engagement rate from 3.9% to 0.8%.
Boostlikes was part of our 30-day test round, which ran from September into October 2026. Our test profile had 1,472 followers going in, and we posted exactly as we normally do.
Throughout the month we read followers, engagement rate and reach from Instagram Insights. After the test closed we gave it two weeks, then checked how many bought followers were already missing.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 1,472 | 7,971 |
| Engagement rate | 2.4% | 0.7% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 6,233 | 5,839 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 530 |
Orders run on your username alone, so your login never leaves your hands.
Prices are listed clearly per package, so you know the cost before checkout.
The FAQ answers "Are your followers real?" with "No, they are boot generated." Our test matched: followers rose from 1,472 to 7,971, engagement slid from 2.4% to 0.7%, reach fell, and 530 vanished within two weeks, despite the promise that they "never drop".
Package pages promise "real, high-quality followers from active accounts", while the FAQ on the same site says they are bot-generated. Both can't be true.
Alongside followers, Boostlikes sells Google reviews and Trustpilot reviews. A seller willing to fake reviews isn't one to trust with your brand.
Larger packages take two to six days to arrive, and the FAQ says some orders can take up to seven days. Payment is PayPal only.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 250 followers | £2.99 one-off | Delivered in 6–10 hours |
| 1,000 followers | £9.99 one-off | Delivered in 24–30 hours |
| 5,000 followers | £44.99 one-off | Delivered in 2–3 days |

These are one-off packages priced in pounds sterling; there's no monthly plan. Delivery times listed on the site run from 6–10 hours for 250 followers to 5–6 days for 10,000.
The package pages mention a 30-day money-back guarantee. Payment is through PayPal only, according to the FAQ.

Because Boostlikes only needs your username, your login stays private. The risk is to your account's standing: a sudden wave of bot followers drags your engagement down and can draw Instagram's attention when it clears out fake accounts.
Buying followers also runs against Instagram's usage policy, so any account that does it is exposed if Instagram decides to act.
If you've bought followers in the past, turn on Instagram two-step sign-in and keep an eye on sudden follower drops after Instagram's purges.

Boostlikes is unusually honest in one place: its FAQ says the followers are bots. Everything else on the site promises real, active accounts, and our test sided with the FAQ, with engagement sinking to 0.7% and 530 followers gone within two weeks. Add fake Google and Trustpilot reviews to its catalogue and there's no reason to use it. Our list of recommended growth services brings in real people instead.
A follower shop that admits its followers are bot-generated, and our results agreed. Use SocialFollow or Kicksta instead.
1/5By its own admission, yes. The FAQ says its followers and likes are bot-generated. In our test they also behaved like bots: engagement fell from 2.4% to 0.7% and 530 dropped off within 14 days of stopping.
It's a UK-facing shop selling followers, likes, views and subscribers for Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Threads, plus Google and Trustpilot reviews. It runs at boostlikes.uk, with boostlikes.co pointing to it.
Instagram follower packages run from £2.99 for 250 to £79.99 for 10,000. They are one-off purchases with no monthly plan.
No. Orders need only your username, and the account has to stay public until delivery finishes.
The package pages mention a 30-day money-back guarantee, and the FAQ says to contact support if an order isn't delivered or you aren't satisfied.
If you want social proof without paying for bots, SocialFollow is free and uses real member accounts. For targeted growth, we rate Kicksta highest.
