CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Wolf Growth delivered bot followers in our test: 4,760 new followers arrived, but engagement fell to 0.8%, reach stayed flat and 558 were gone two weeks after we stopped. Plans cost $99 to $199 a month, with strict refund terms. For followers who are real people, see our Kicksta review.
Wolf Growth started as an Instagram growth service and now presents itself as an AI-powered platform for audience growth, customer conversations and lead generation, with "Wolf Agents 2.0" as its latest release.
It sits alongside a separate managed tier, Elite Growth, which promises manual work by a growth specialist. We judged it on the same 30-day test as every other Instagram growth platform we review.
Wolf Growth's software runs engagement from your connected account using what it calls smart workflows, with randomized delays and daily limits. Higher plans add outreach campaigns, an inbox assistant and AI agents that handle conversations.
Create an account, choose Plus, Pro or Business, and log in to the dashboard.
Link your Instagram profile so the platform can act from it.
Choose who to target. Audience filters arrive on Pro, and AI audience control on Business.
Story actions, smart interactions and, on higher plans, outreach campaigns and AI replies run from your account.
Cancel from the billing dashboard at least a day before renewal, or you pay for the next month too.
Wolf Growth has rebuilt itself around AI "growth systems" aimed at leads and sales. The pitch is about conversations and customers, but during our test its new followers acted like bots and the conversations never came.
The appeal is the promise of more than followers. Wolf Growth's testimonials talk about DMs, inquiries and sales, which is what most businesses actually want from Instagram.
Leads only come from real people, though. An audience made up of bot accounts can't reply, buy or recommend you, and it makes your posts look less engaging to Instagram. The habits in our guide to attracting real followers will do more for your sales.

We also tested Trusy, which sells growth packages through an online store.
We connected Wolf Growth to a test profile for a month, from September into October 2026. That profile started the month at exactly 1,000 followers, and our content schedule didn't change at any point.
Instagram Insights supplied the daily numbers we tracked: followers, engagement rate and 30-day reach. After switching the service off, we waited a fortnight and counted how many followers had dropped away.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 1,000 | 5,760 |
| Engagement rate | 3.3% | 0.8% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 4,186 | 4,138 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 558 |
All three software plans and the Elite tiers have public prices, so you can compare costs without booking a call.
The dashboard bundles analytics, scheduling hints and campaign tools in one place, which some businesses may find tidy.
Our test account went from 1,000 to 5,760 followers, while engagement dropped from 3.3% to 0.8% and reach stayed flat. Two weeks after we stopped, 558 of those followers were already gone. That's what bot accounts look like: they inflate the number, never interact, and disappear when Instagram removes them.
The homepage sells AI agents with randomized delays and daily limits, the Elite page promises 100% manual work, and the terms describe "hand-executed organic growth". It's hard to know what's actually running on your account.
Refunds are reviewed case by case and generally limited to new customers with technical onboarding failures. "Not as expected" is explicitly ruled out, and you must cancel at least a day before renewal.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Wolf Plus | $99/month | Story actions, smart interactions, polls, live insights |
| Wolf Pro | $149/month | Adds outreach campaigns, audience filters, an inbox assistant, content reposting and smart engagement |
| Wolf Business | $199/month | Adds AI growth agents, conversation AI, content engine, premium support |
| Elite Growth | $297 to $997/month | Managed tiers with a growth specialist; top tier covers 2 accounts |
All prices are monthly. There's no free trial listed. Cancellations have to be filed through the billing area no later than the day before renewal, and pausing targeting doesn't stop billing.
Refunds are decided case by case and are generally limited to technical onboarding failures.

Any platform that acts from your connected account carries risk, and Wolf Growth's own FAQ describes throttling, delays and daily limits, the language of automation. Before connecting anything, read Instagram's usage terms and decide how much you're comfortable handing over.
The audience is the other problem. Bot accounts drag your engagement rate down and leave in waves when Instagram cleans them out, which is exactly what our follower count did after we stopped. Protect your login with Instagram's two-factor feature whatever you decide.
A follower jump of thousands with engagement falling at the same time is a red flag for bot accounts, not a sign of success.

Wolf Growth talks about leads, sales and real conversations, yet everything it added looked like bot accounts: thousands arrived, engagement sank to 0.8%, reach went nowhere and hundreds left soon after. Add confusing claims about how it works and refund terms that rule out "not as expected", and it gets a firm no from us. The brands we stand behind attract people who actually engage, so compare the trusted growth services instead.
The followers it brought in acted like bot accounts that never engage. Pick Kicksta for real people.
1.5/5It's an Instagram growth platform that now markets AI-assisted workflows for engagement, outreach and DMs, plus a pricier managed tier called Elite Growth.
Our results point that way. Followers jumped by 4,760 while engagement fell to 0.8% and reach didn't grow, and 558 were gone a fortnight after we stopped. That pattern points to bot followers, whatever the software is called.
Wolf Plus is $99 a month, Wolf Pro $149 and Wolf Business $199. The managed Elite Growth plans cost $297, $497 and $997 a month.
Rarely. Its terms say refunds are reviewed case by case, mainly for technical onboarding failures, and not for results that weren't what you expected.
Submit the cancellation in the billing dashboard at least one day before your renewal date. Pausing your targeting doesn't stop the charges.
Kicksta. Its followers are real people, it starts at $69 a month, and our engagement rate rose to 5.5% during the same kind of test.
