Our score: 3/5
It dependsShort version: Overloop is an AI-assisted outbound tool that sources prospects, writes campaigns and runs email and LinkedIn steps for you to approve. It's convenient for small teams, but the limits are tight for $69 a user and the trial is short. For LinkedIn-led outreach, our Aimfox review is the place to start.
Overloop is a B2B outbound platform that combines lead sourcing, contact verification, buying signals and multichannel outreach. Its newest version leans on AI to plan and write campaigns for you.
It's aimed at founders, small sales teams and growth marketers who want prospecting and outreach handled from one dashboard, with integrations for HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Slack and Zapier's Overloop connector depending on the plan.
Overloop works like an AI assistant for outbound. It sources prospects, writes a campaign in your voice and runs it across email and LinkedIn, with you approving the campaign before launch.
Describe the people you want to reach, and Overloop sources matching decision-makers from its B2B database, with email verification and phone lookup.
Signals like job changes and funding rounds help decide who to contact first.
The AI drafts each step of the campaign, mixing emails with LinkedIn requests and messages. You review and edit it before anything is sent.
Once approved, Overloop sends the messages and follow-ups on schedule, switching channel depending on whether a prospect is connected on LinkedIn.
Replies arrive in an inbox where the AI can draft answers for you to send, and reports show how campaigns perform.
Overloop fits small B2B teams that want help building campaigns rather than a blank canvas. It finds prospects, writes the messages and runs email and LinkedIn steps, while you review everything before it goes out.
Starting outbound from nothing is slow: you need a list, verified emails, copy and follow-ups. Overloop compresses that into a guided flow, which is its main selling point.
Buying signals add useful timing. Reaching a company just after a funding round or a new hire usually lands better than a random cold message. We describe how we assess features like this in our testing and scoring section.
The limits are the price you pay for that convenience. Campaign caps, per-user pricing and a short trial make it harder to judge properly before you commit. Our review standards page explains how we weigh value against features.
Who gets the most from it? A founder or two-person sales team with a clear target market and no time to write sequences. Overloop's guided approach removes most of the setup work, and the approval step keeps you in control of what goes out under your name. Larger teams that already have data, copywriters and processes in place will feel the campaign limits sooner and get less from the AI drafting, so these Overloop alternatives may suit them better.
Enterprise sales teams with bigger budgets tend to compare it with the platform in our Salesloft review.
If you want a tool that focuses on LinkedIn alone, LeadConnect is another option we cover, alongside the other LinkedIn automation tools we ranked.
For this Overloop review we read Overloop's site and plan table on October 16, 2026, and set the tool against the LinkedIn and multichannel outreach tools we've covered.
We added context from independent reviews on G2, on Findstack's Overloop page and on other directories, where users describe both the time it saves and the limits they hit. All prices and plan limits come from Overloop's pricing page.
Instead of building sequences from scratch, you describe your audience and offer, and Overloop drafts the campaign for you to check. It's a real time-saver for small teams.
Contact data, email verification, a phone finder and buying signals are all in one subscription, so you don't need a separate data tool to get started.
Overloop holds a CASA Tier 2 security certification and supplies privacy and data processing documents on all plans.
Starter costs $69 per user a month but allows only three campaigns and one email account. Growth at $99 per user a month lifts that to ten campaigns, which adds up for a team.
The trial lasts seven days, which is short for a tool that needs time to find prospects, warm up and gather replies. Users also mention slow searches and analytics that don't always line up.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $69/month per user | 250 credits a month, 1 email account, 3 campaigns, basic integrations |
| Growth | $99/month per user | 500 credits a month, 3 email accounts, 10 campaigns, HubSpot, Pipedrive and API |
| Enterprise | Custom | 1,000 credits a month, unlimited accounts and campaigns, Salesforce, priority support |
Prices are per user per month. All plans come with a seven-day trial. Credits are used for contact data such as emails and phone numbers, and the monthly allowance grows with each plan.
Enterprise adds Salesforce integration, a dedicated sending IP, more payment options such as wire transfer, and a dedicated customer success manager.
Prices checked October 16, 2026.
Overloop has you approve each campaign before launch, which helps avoid sending something embarrassing at scale. On the email side it shares IPs for secondary domains on lower plans and offers dedicated IPs on Enterprise.
It doesn't say much about LinkedIn-specific protections, and LinkedIn's automation guidance makes clear that automated activity isn't allowed, and the LinkedIn User Agreement says the same. Keep LinkedIn steps light.
Look over LinkedIn's blocked software page first, and use LinkedIn steps as a supporting touch rather than the main channel.

Overloop's AI campaign builder and built-in data make cold outreach quicker to launch, and its review-before-sending approach is sensible. The catch is value: three campaigns on a $69 starter seat, a seven-day trial and light LinkedIn controls. If LinkedIn matters most to your pipeline, Aimfox and the best LinkedIn automation software we've reviewed give you more for less.
Handy AI-assisted outbound for small teams, but pricey for what you get on LinkedIn. Aimfox is the stronger LinkedIn choice.
