CASE FILE · LINKEDIN AUTOMATION
Our score: 3.5/5
It dependsShort version: Reply.io is a capable cold outreach platform with a billion-contact database, strong email tools and an AI SDR. LinkedIn automation is available, but as a $69 a month add-on that reviewers find basic. If LinkedIn is your main channel, our Aimfox review is the better starting point.
Reply.io is a sales engagement platform for teams that run outbound at scale. It brings together contact data, multichannel sequences, a unified inbox and an AI SDR, aimed at founders, SDR teams and agencies.
The company has been helping sales teams for over ten years and says more than 3,000 companies use it. Email is its centre of gravity, with LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp added around it.
Reply.io builds outreach around sequences: timed series of emails, LinkedIn actions, calls and texts, with conditions that react to what each contact does.
Search more than a billion B2B contacts, use the Chrome extension on LinkedIn, or import your own lists. Email finders and enrichment fill in the gaps.
Connect mailboxes and, with the add-on or Multichannel plan, LinkedIn accounts. Email warm-up runs in the background to protect deliverability.
Combine emails, LinkedIn requests and messages, calls and SMS in one conditional sequence, or let AI generate a sequence for you.
Optionally hand prospecting to Jason, the AI SDR, which finds contacts, writes outreach and answers replies around the clock.
Every reply, whatever the channel, comes into one inbox, and a meeting scheduler helps turn interest into booked calls.
Reply.io suits sales teams that run large email programmes and want other channels plugged in around them. It's broad rather than deep: lots of channels and features, with LinkedIn as one of several add-ons.
Reply.io's appeal is having most of an outbound stack in one place. Data, sequences, warm-up and meeting booking all come together, which saves juggling several subscriptions.
It also scales well for email. Unlimited mailboxes on the Email Volume plan help spread sending across domains, which protects deliverability as you grow. Our rating methodology page explains how we weigh features like these.
LinkedIn is the weaker link. You pay per account for it on the cheaper plan, and reviewers mention clunky setup and missing details. We explain how we handle mixed feedback like this in our editorial guidelines page.
For a lighter all-in-one option with AI-written campaigns, see our Overloop review.
At the enterprise end, larger sales organisations often weigh Reply.io against Salesloft.
We based this Reply.io review on the company's website and pricing page, switched to monthly billing and checked on October 16, 2026, and compared it with the LinkedIn outreach tools already on our site.
Independent user reviews on G2, Findstack's Reply.io listing and other software directories helped us see how its LinkedIn features hold up day to day. Every price and plan detail comes from Reply.io's own pricing page.
With more than a billion contacts available and email finders built in, you can build lists without paying for a separate data tool.
Email Volume plans come with unlimited mailboxes and warm-up, so large email programmes can spread sending safely.
The company quotes a 4.6 out of 5 rating from more than 1,400 G2 reviews, and its range of channels, from SMS to WhatsApp, is wider than most rivals.
On the Email Volume plan, LinkedIn automation is a separate $69 a month per account, and calls and SMS cost another $29. Users note that per-account add-ons make a team's bill climb quickly.
User reviews describe the LinkedIn automation as basic and sometimes unreliable, with gaps such as no way to attach images to LinkedIn messages. It works, but it isn't Reply.io's strongest feature.

Reply.io's safety features focus on email, with warm-up and an anti-spam suite that help keep your domains healthy under rules like Gmail's sender guidelines. For LinkedIn it offers the core automation steps, but users don't single it out for account protection.
Remember that LinkedIn's automation terms and its User Agreement forbid tools that act on your profile, so run LinkedIn steps sparingly and watch for warnings.
Review LinkedIn's prohibited tools list before you switch on the LinkedIn add-on.

Reply.io does a lot well, especially cold email at volume, built-in data and newer AI features. For LinkedIn outreach, though, it charges extra for automation that users describe as basic, so the value depends on how much you lean on email. Teams that prospect mainly on LinkedIn should start with Aimfox, our top pick among the LinkedIn prospecting tools we've reviewed.
