CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: OniGrow promises a human team that brings real customers, from €99 a month. What our test account actually received were bot followers: close to 7,000 of them, while engagement fell to 0.3%, and its refund promise isn't backed by its own terms. For a real account manager, see Upleap's managed service.
Running since 2017, OniGrow sells managed Instagram growth. It targets small businesses such as coaches, restaurants, salons and shops, and offers its site in several languages, with prices in euros.
Beyond the growth service, plans include credits for small AI tools that write bios, posts and message replies. Compared with the other Instagram growth services we cover, it leans hardest on business results, which makes its test outcome all the more telling.
OniGrow presents its service as three steps: understand who should find you, put your profile in front of them every day, and turn visits into enquiries. Its plans differ mainly in how many targeted interactions you get each month and how many content tools are included.
Pick Basic, Elite or Platinum, or try the €29 11-day period first. Longer commitments get small discounts.
OniGrow sends a WhatsApp message with a link, and you approve its access to your profile in the Instagram app.
The team defines your audience by sector, area and type of customer.
OniGrow engages with those people from your account each day, roughly 3,000 to 6,000 interactions a month depending on the plan.
Strategy is reviewed monthly on Basic, every two weeks on Elite and weekly on Platinum, and credits unlock the content tools.
OniGrow sells itself as a team of experts who turn Instagram into a source of customers for small businesses. The extras are thoughtful, but the core service gave us a crowd of followers that never engaged, which is the opposite of what a business account needs.
For a business owner, the pitch is appealing: hand Instagram to a team, get more enquiries and bookings, and pay less than a social media manager would cost.
The bundled tools are a nice touch. A ready-made bio or a week of post ideas can help a profile convert visitors who arrive.
But visitors only convert if they're real and interested. An account that gains thousands of followers while its engagement collapses ends up showing its posts to fewer people, not more. Our guide to attracting real customers explains why.
Another managed service from this round told a similar story. Our SocialMonk review found followers that faded just as quickly.
And a human-powered label didn't change the outcome at Organics Growth either.
OniGrow worked on a test profile through September and October 2026, beginning with 1,616 followers. We left everything else about the account unchanged for the full 30 days.
Instagram Insights supplied our daily figures for followers, engagement and accounts reached. After the service ended, we waited two weeks and then counted the followers that had gone.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 1,616 | 8,507 |
| Engagement rate | 3.3% | 0.3% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 5,506 | 5,395 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 321 |
Plans come with credits for small AI tools that write a bio, suggest posts or draft replies to messages, which is a useful extra for a busy owner.
The €29 starter period lets you see the service before committing to a monthly plan.
Followers rose from 1,616 to 8,507 in our month with OniGrow, while engagement slumped from 3.3% to 0.3% and accounts reached slipped from 5,506 to 5,395. Then 321 followers left within 14 days of stopping. It delivered bot followers, not potential customers.
Every plan card promises a full refund if you see no growth within 5 days. OniGrow's terms of service say refunds can only be requested within 24 hours of ordering, and that none are given after that.
Basic costs €99 a month for about 3,000 targeted interactions. Getting all four of OniGrow's content tools and weekly strategy updates means Platinum at €249 a month.
OniGrow says its team works with people, not automation, yet a jump of almost 7,000 followers with engagement near zero doesn't look like careful, human-paced outreach.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | €99/month | About 3,000 targeted interactions a month, monthly strategy review, 1 content tool, 5 credits |
| Elite | €149/month | About 4,500 interactions a month, strategy every 2 weeks, 2 content tools, 10 credits |
| Platinum | €249/month | About 6,000 interactions a month, weekly strategy, all 4 content tools, 20 credits, priority support |
OniGrow prices in euros. Monthly plans renew automatically, and paying for 3, 6 or 12 months up front takes 5% to 15% off. The €29 starter period is a one-off payment and can be used once per customer.
The plan cards promise a full refund if you see no growth within 5 days, but the terms only allow refund requests within 24 hours of ordering.

OniGrow gets access to your account through an approval link you confirm in the Instagram app, and then acts on your profile every day. Its terms make clear that any limit, suspension or closure of your account is entirely Instagram's decision.
That puts the risk on you. Read Instagram's user terms before granting any service ongoing access, and remove that access when you stop.
Turn on extra login security before approving any third-party access to your account.

OniGrow's pitch is aimed at small businesses that want customers, yet what it delivered resembled a bot audience: thousands of silent accounts, engagement down to 0.3% and reach slightly lower than before. Combined with a 5-day refund promise that its terms cut to 24 hours, it's not a safe bet. The leading growth services we tested did far better.
Bot followers dressed up as a human-run service, with a refund promise its terms don't honour. Pick Upleap.
2/5OniGrow says a human team does the work and warns against bots on its own homepage. But in our test, 6,891 new followers arrived as engagement slid to 0.3% and fewer accounts saw our posts, then 321 left within two weeks. Real customers don't behave like that; bots do.
A managed Instagram growth service for small businesses. Its team targets people by sector, area and customer type and engages with them from your profile, and plans include AI tools for bios and post ideas.
Basic is €99 a month, Elite €149 and Platinum €249 on monthly billing. There's also an 11-day starter period for €29, paid once.
The plan pages promise a full refund if you see no growth within 5 days, but the terms limit refund requests to 24 hours after ordering. Rely on the terms, not the banner.
After you pay, OniGrow messages you on WhatsApp with a link to approve its access to your profile from the Instagram app.
For a genuine account manager, Upleap is the safer pick: plans begin at $39 monthly, and most of the followers it brought us stayed and kept engaging.
