Short version: MegaFollow automates likes, comments, follows and unfollows from your account for $59.99 a month. Despite its no-bots promise, it delivered bot followers in our test: thousands appeared, engagement fell to 0.5% and reach stayed flat. What is MegaFollow?

MegaFollow is an AI-assisted Instagram automation tool. Once connected, it carries out likes, comments, follows and unfollows from your account around the clock, aimed at the audiences you choose.

It sells itself to creators, models, coaches and agencies, with a white-label option for resellers. Among the Instagram growth platforms we compare, it's one of the most openly automated.

How MegaFollow works

MegaFollow doesn't pretend to be a person. It's an automation engine with an AI pacing layer meant to keep actions within Instagram's limits, and it runs entirely in the browser. The catch is that pacing doesn't make the resulting followers any more real.

Step 1: Connect your account

Start the free trial and link your Instagram account in the web dashboard. There's nothing to install.

Step 2: Set targeting

Choose hashtags, locations, competitor accounts, interests or look-alike audiences to aim at.

Step 3: Choose a pace

Pick how fast it should work. MegaFollow says its AI spaces out activity to look human.

Step 4: Automation runs nonstop

The engine follows, unfollows, likes and comments from your account 24/7, and a live dashboard shows each action as it happens.

Step 5: Adjust and repeat

Keep the targets that convert and drop the rest. Plans renew monthly until you cancel.

Who is MegaFollow best for?

MegaFollow is a plain automation tool: software that follows, unfollows, likes and comments from your account all day and night. If you accept that trade-off, it's simple to set up. But the followers it brought us looked nothing like the real, niche-matched people its homepage promises.

A good fit if you

  • Want likes, comments, follows and unfollows automated 24/7
  • Manage several creator accounts from one dashboard
  • Are comfortable with automation running on your account
  • Want a short free trial before paying

Skip it if you

  • Want an audience that engages with your posts
  • Worry about automated activity on your account
  • Expect the homepage's no-bots promise to match the fine print
  • Care more about reach than the follower number

Why use MegaFollow at all?

Automation saves time, and that's MegaFollow's real pitch. Following, liking and commenting by hand for hours a day isn't realistic for most people, so handing it to software is tempting.

Its targeting options are broad too, from hashtags and locations to competitors' followers and look-alike audiences, and the live dashboard makes it easy to see where activity is going.

The trouble is what comes back. When an account gains thousands of followers but its posts reach the same number of people as before, the new followers aren't paying attention. Our guide to earning real followers covers what actually moves reach.

We saw the same thing with a managed service in this round of tests. Our OniGrow review found a near-identical drop in engagement despite its human team.

And even services promising a personal manager didn't avoid it: SocialMonk produced the same kind of short-lived, silent followers.

How we tested it

MegaFollow had a month on our test account, from September into October 2026, beginning at 1,492 followers. We posted at our usual rhythm throughout.

Instagram Insights gave us the daily follower count, engagement rate and reach. Once the month was over we disconnected MegaFollow and, a fortnight later, tallied the followers that had since unfollowed.

What we liked

Transparent dashboard

Everything runs in the browser, and a live dashboard shows every action the tool takes, so nothing happens out of sight.

Simple pricing

One flat price per account and an agency workspace make it straightforward for people managing several profiles.

What we didn't like

It delivered bot followers

Over our 30 days the account climbed from 1,492 to 8,029 followers, but engagement fell from 3.0% to 0.5% and reach stayed flat at about 5,000 accounts. Two weeks after we stopped, 402 followers had dropped off. That's how bot followers look in the numbers: lots of accounts, no attention.

Its own terms undercut the promise

The homepage says "No fake or bot followers, ever." The terms of service say MegaFollow can't protect you from spam, fake or inactive followers, and that the number of followers, likes and comments isn't guaranteed.

Round-the-clock automation

Likes, comments, follows and unfollows fire from your account around the clock. Automated comments in particular are easy for other users to spot, and they can make a brand look careless.

Muddled trial and refund terms

The site promises a 3-day trial while the terms mention a 14-day one. Refunds cover only unused time on packages paid in full, and discounted packages aren't refundable at all.

What we liked

  • Pro: Live action dashboard
  • Pro: One flat price per account

What we didn't like

  • Con: Delivered bot followers in our test
  • Con: Reach stayed flat
  • Con: Terms admit fake followers aren't prevented

MegaFollow plans
PlanPriceWhat you get
Monthly$59.99/monthFull automation (likes, comments, follows, unfollows), all targeting options, live dashboard, onboarding and support, per account

MegaFollow charges per connected Instagram account. The monthly plan renews automatically; an annual plan costs less per month but is paid upfront.

Every new account gets a free trial (3 days according to the site, 14 according to the terms). Refunds only cover unused time on packages paid in full.

Is MegaFollow safe?

MegaFollow runs automated follows, unfollows, likes and comments from your account at all hours. Its terms disclaim responsibility for any ban and state that your Instagram login details are needed to reach the API, despite the homepage line about never storing your password.

Automated activity is what Instagram's platform rules are written to limit, so the risk sits with you, not MegaFollow.

Before connecting any automation, set up Instagram login protection and remove the tool's access as soon as you stop.

MegaFollow review: our verdict

MegaFollow's automation added thousands of followers, but they behaved like bots rather than an audience: engagement dropped to 0.5%, reach stood still and hundreds unfollowed within a fortnight. Its own terms admit it can't keep fake accounts away. Choose one of the top growth services we tested instead.

It's browser-based automation for Instagram. It runs likes, comments, follows and unfollows from your account 24/7, aimed at hashtags, locations, competitors and look-alike audiences.

How much does MegaFollow cost?

$59.99 a month per connected Instagram account on monthly billing. An annual plan works out cheaper per month.

Does MegaFollow need my Instagram password?

What's a better alternative to MegaFollow?

Kenji is a better fit if you want low-effort growth. It starts at $39 a month, needs very little setup, and in our test its new followers engaged and stayed.
