LinkedRadar review: features, pricing and verdict

2.5/5

Our score: 2.5/5

Not recommended

Short version: This LinkedRadar review covers a low-cost Chrome extension that once focused on LinkedIn automation and now leads with Instagram data tools. Its LinkedIn features still send invitations and messages and find emails, from $19.90 a month. For serious LinkedIn outreach, Aimfox for LinkedIn is a far better choice.

What is LinkedRadar?

LinkedRadar is a LinkedIn browser extension and web toolkit. On LinkedIn it automates connection requests and follow-up messages, uses AI to write message templates, finds business emails and organises prospects in a simple CRM.

Its homepage now describes it as Instagram-first: comment and follower exporters, a story viewer and an Instagram DM bot sit alongside the LinkedIn features. That broader, scattered focus is why it ranks low among the LinkedIn automation options we review.

How LinkedRadar works

LinkedRadar's LinkedIn tools run from a Chrome extension, so they work from your own browser session rather than a cloud server.

Step 1: Install the extension

Add LinkedRadar to Chrome and sign in while logged in to LinkedIn.

Step 2: Pick a plan's limits

Each plan sets monthly caps on invitations, InMails, AI optimisations and campaigns.

Step 3: Write with AI

Use AI message templates to draft connection notes and follow-ups for each campaign.

Step 4: Find emails

Use the LinkedIn email finder to look up available business addresses for prospects.

Step 5: Organise in the CRM

Group, tag and manage prospects, then track replies and next steps.

Who is LinkedRadar best for?

LinkedRadar suits someone on a very tight budget who wants a little LinkedIn automation plus Instagram research tools in one cheap subscription.

It's a poor fit for teams or agencies. Monthly caps on invitations, InMails and campaigns limit how far a plan can stretch, only the top Team plan supports up to five LinkedIn accounts, and the extension needs your own browser to run. Anyone who depends on LinkedIn for pipeline will outgrow it quickly and should look at a cloud tool from our ranked LinkedIn automation picks.

A good fit if you

  • Want the lowest-cost LinkedIn automation
  • Also need Instagram export and research tools
  • Send modest monthly volumes
  • Like AI help writing first messages

Skip it if you

  • Need campaigns that run with your computer off
  • Want a tool focused purely on LinkedIn
  • Run outreach for a team or agency
  • Need reliable, high-volume sequences

Why use LinkedRadar at all?

Price is the main appeal. The Start plan costs $19.90 a month on monthly billing and covers 400 invitations and 400 InMails a month, with AI templates included.

The email finder and CRM add some value in one place, and users on review sites say the extension is easy to set up.

But the product's attention has clearly shifted to Instagram. Our old Platypus coverage of LinkedRadar treated it as a LinkedIn tool; today the LinkedIn side is one module among many. For another LinkedIn-focused option, see our Kanbox review, or go straight to Aimfox.

Beyond outreach, LinkedRadar bundles AI extras such as a LinkedIn post generator, an AI photo and headshot generator and a CRM integration. They're handy for a solo user who wants everything in one cheap subscription, but none of them changes the core problem: its LinkedIn automation is limited, browser-based and no longer the product's main focus.

How we reviewed it

Our LinkedRadar review is built from its current homepage and pricing page, read on 16 October 2026, earlier coverage on our own site, and comments from users on software directories. Our editorial rules explain how we treat these sources.

No paid LinkedRadar plan was tested for this page, so it contains no test figures. We judged it on what it does for LinkedIn today, safety, price and feedback, using our review framework.

What we liked

Low entry price

The Start plan is $19.90 a month on monthly billing, one of the cheapest ways to automate basic LinkedIn outreach.

Email finder included

A LinkedIn email finder and a light CRM come with the extension, so you can collect and organise contacts in one place.

What we didn't like

LinkedIn is no longer the focus

The site now leads with Instagram exporters, a story viewer and an Instagram DM bot, and the LinkedIn features feel secondary.

Browser-based and capped

It runs from your own Chrome session, and each plan caps invitations, InMails and campaigns per month.

Mixed messages on scraping

Several of its tools export or scrape data from social platforms, which sits uneasily with LinkedIn's and Instagram's rules.

What we liked

  • Pro: From $19.90 a month
  • Pro: Email finder and simple CRM

What we didn't like

  • Con: LinkedIn is no longer its focus
  • Con: Browser-based with monthly caps

Is LinkedRadar safe?

LinkedRadar runs from your own browser and says its automation is designed to act like a person. That's the minimum you'd expect, and browser extensions still leave a clear footprint in your own session.

LinkedIn's guidance on third-party automation tools is that they aren't permitted, and the data-scraping features in LinkedRadar's wider toolkit add to the risk. Use it sparingly, if at all.

See LinkedIn's banned software list, and avoid exporting or scraping data from any platform's profiles.

LinkedRadar review: our verdict

LinkedRadar is cheap, but cheapness is about all it offers LinkedIn users now. The product has turned into an Instagram-first toolkit, its LinkedIn automation runs from your browser with monthly caps, and its scraping tools add risk. We don't recommend it for LinkedIn outreach. Aimfox is safer, cloud-based and built for LinkedIn. For another option in this space, read about La Growth Machine.

Does Platypus recommend LinkedRadar?

Not recommended

Cheap and quick to start, but LinkedRadar is now an Instagram-first toolbox, and its LinkedIn outreach is a small, browser-based part of it.

FAQ

What is LinkedRadar?

LinkedRadar is a Chrome extension and web toolkit. It automates some LinkedIn outreach and finds emails, and it now focuses mainly on Instagram data tools.

How much does LinkedRadar cost?

On monthly billing, Start is $19.90, Biz $29.90, Pro $69.90 and Team $99.90 a month. Yearly billing is cheaper.

Is LinkedRadar still a LinkedIn tool?

Partly. It still offers LinkedIn automation, an email finder and a CRM, but its homepage leads with Instagram exporters and a DM bot.

Does LinkedRadar run in the cloud?

No. Its LinkedIn automation runs from a Chrome extension in your own browser.

Is LinkedRadar safe?

Less safe than most. It's browser-based, its toolkit includes data export features, and LinkedIn doesn't permit automation software or extensions.

Does LinkedRadar have free tools?

Yes. Its site offers several free tools, with paid plans for higher automation limits.

What AI features does LinkedRadar include?

AI message templates, a LinkedIn post generator and AI photo and headshot generators, among others.

Can LinkedRadar send InMails?

Yes. Each plan includes a monthly InMail allowance, from 400 a month on Start to unlimited on the Team plan.

What's a better alternative to LinkedRadar?

Aimfox, the top pick in our LinkedRadar alternatives. Unlike LinkedRadar, it's a dedicated LinkedIn platform that runs in the cloud with safety limits built in.

LinkedIn reviews

I review LinkedIn automation and outreach tools. I care about two things: whether a tool actually gets you replies, and whether it keeps your account safe. If a tool pushes LinkedIn's limits, I'll tell you plainly.
