Our score: 3.5/5
It dependsShort version: Kanbox is a budget-friendly LinkedIn prospecting tool built around visual Kanban pipelines. It's easy to use and starts at $20 a month, but its sequences can't include email and the cheaper plans run out fast. For safer, more flexible outreach, read our Aimfox review first.
Kanbox is a LinkedIn prospecting tool that brings four jobs into one place: scraping leads, running automated outreach, managing your inbox, and tracking every prospect on a Kanban board. It works through a Chrome extension backed by a cloud service.
Its own site says more than 2,000 agencies and teams use it, and it pitches itself at sales people, recruiters, creators and agencies alike. The common thread is people who want their LinkedIn leads organised, not just contacted.
Kanbox runs as a LinkedIn Chrome extension tied to a cloud workspace. You pull leads into lists, run them through a LinkedIn sequence, and track each person on a board from first touch to deal.
Add Kanbox to Chrome and link your LinkedIn profile. Campaigns keep running in the cloud even when your computer is off.
Import people from LinkedIn searches, Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Recruiter, a post's likers and commenters, event attendees or a list of profile URLs.
Combine profile visits, follows, post likes, a connection request and up to six follow-up messages, with random delays between actions.
On Pro, an AI agent writes a unique message for each lead, scores leads against your ideal customer profile and can reply after a lead responds.
Replies land in a smart inbox with tags and filters, and each lead moves across Kanban columns so nothing slips through.
Kanbox makes the most sense for people whose LinkedIn work is as much about keeping track of leads as about reaching them. Recruiters, small sales teams and agencies that live inside their LinkedIn inbox get the most from its boards and tags.
Most LinkedIn outreach tools treat replies as an afterthought. Kanbox starts from the opposite end: every lead has a place on a board, every conversation is tagged, and you can see at a glance who needs a follow-up.
The lead sources are a strength too. Pulling in people who engaged with a post or signed up for an event usually gives warmer lists than a cold search, and the built-in email finder adds an address when you need one. You can read how this compares with other tools in our editorial review standards.
Where it falls short is depth. There's no email step in a sequence, and safety settings are lighter than in tools built around account protection. Kanbox's own numbers suggest 15 to 30% acceptance rates with good targeting, but results depend heavily on your list and message, as our review scoring method explains.
Kanbox overlaps with the tool in our La Growth Machine review on LinkedIn prospecting, though La Growth Machine adds email, calls and voice notes to the same sequence.
If email is part of your plan, lemlist covers that side far better than Kanbox can.
We built this Kanbox review from the company's own website, pricing table and feature comparison, checked on October 16, 2026, and set it against the LinkedIn automation tools we ranked.
We also read independent write-ups and user reviews on software directories to see where Kanbox users are happy and where they run into limits. Prices and plan limits on this page come only from Kanbox's own pricing page.
Every lead sits on a Kanban board you can shape around your own process, whether that's a sales pipeline or a recruiting funnel. It's a clearer way to work than a flat list of conversations.
You can import people who liked or commented on a post and attendees of a LinkedIn event, not just search results. Dynamic imports on Pro refresh those lists every 24 hours.
Starter costs $20 a month, and the 15-day trial needs no card. For a solo user testing LinkedIn outreach, that's one of the lowest entry prices around.
Kanbox finds email addresses, but its sequences stay on LinkedIn: visits, follows, likes, invitations and up to six follow-up messages. If you want an email step after a LinkedIn message, you'll need a second tool.
The Starter plan runs one campaign at a time and imports 300 leads a month, and Essential stops at three campaigns and 600 leads. Most active users will end up on Pro at $80 a month per LinkedIn account.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $20/month | 1 campaign at a time, 300 lead imports a month, email finder, smart inbox |
| Essential | $45/month per LinkedIn account | 3 campaigns, 600 lead imports a month, team and multi-account access |
| Pro | $80/month per LinkedIn account | 5 campaigns, 75,000 lead imports a month, unlimited AI prompts, webhooks and API |
| Agency | From $399/month | 5 to 10 LinkedIn accounts, everything in Pro, bring your own proxies |
These are month-to-month prices. Quarterly billing saves 15% and annual billing saves up to 40%. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial and no card, and you can cancel at any time.
Agency plans scale from 5 to 10 LinkedIn accounts at $399 a month up to unlimited accounts, and Kanbox offers custom plans for more than 100 accounts.
Prices checked October 16, 2026.
Kanbox says its campaigns imitate human behaviour, with randomized delays and daily caps on actions, and that users who follow its recommended settings run it without trouble. It also stores data under the EU's GDPR rules and says it never sells your prospects' details.
No automation tool is risk-free, though. LinkedIn's automation rules don't allow software that acts on your account, so keep your daily volumes modest and grow them slowly.
Before connecting any extension to your profile, read LinkedIn's prohibited software page and start with low daily limits.

Kanbox is pleasant to use and its Kanban boards genuinely help you keep track of every conversation, which is why recruiters and small teams like it. As an outreach tool it's narrower than the best options: LinkedIn-only sequences, a small cap on campaigns below Pro, and less depth on account safety. If outreach results are the priority, the LinkedIn automation tools we rate highest, led by Aimfox, are a better bet.
A tidy, affordable way to organise LinkedIn leads, but limited as an outreach engine. Aimfox does more.

It's a LinkedIn prospecting tool that combines a lead scraper, automated outreach sequences, a smart inbox and Kanban-style pipelines, so you can see where every prospect stands.
On monthly billing, Starter is $20, Essential is $45 per LinkedIn account and Pro is $80 per LinkedIn account. Agency plans start at $399 a month for 5 to 10 accounts. Annual billing cuts these prices by up to 40%.
Yes. The trial runs for 15 days, unlocks every feature and asks for no card details.
Kanbox says it respects LinkedIn's limits with randomized delays and daily action caps. Any automation still breaks LinkedIn's user rules, though, so keep volumes modest and use the recommended settings.
No. Its sequences cover LinkedIn actions only. Kanbox can find professional email addresses for your leads, but sending email campaigns needs another tool.
For most people running LinkedIn outreach, Aimfox. Aimfox protects accounts more carefully, offers extra lead sources and gathers replies from all your profiles in a single inbox. We list more picks in our Kanbox alternatives roundup.
