CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: FollowingLike is Windows software for automating many social accounts at once, and the followers it produced were bots in all but name. Our count rose by nearly 5,900 while engagement fell from 3.1% to 0.5%. For managed growth with real people, read Upleap's account managers instead.
FollowingLike is desktop automation software for Windows. It covers nine networks, including Instagram, and can post, like, comment, follow and send direct messages on your behalf, across one account or thousands.
Much of its feature list is about running accounts at scale without being spotted. That's a world away from the Instagram growth services we recommend, where real people choose to follow one real account.
FollowingLike is software you install, not a service someone runs for you. You load your accounts into it, choose what it should do and leave your Windows PC running while it performs those actions automatically.
Download the Windows program and request a free 3-day licence. Mac users need a virtual machine.
Import one or many accounts, logging in with passwords or cookies. Data is stored locally on your PC.
Assign proxies and browser fingerprints so each account appears to come from its own location and device.
Pick tasks such as following, liking, commenting, posting and sending DMs to competitors' followers.
The software repeats those actions in bulk. Running very large numbers of accounts at once needs its Master Control Program.
FollowingLike is aimed at people running lots of accounts, not at a creator or small business trying to build one real audience. Its features read like a toolkit for operating account farms, and our results looked like it.
The draw is control and scale. One program can manage posting and engagement across several networks, and agencies running many profiles like the idea of doing it all from one screen.
For a single creator or business, though, automated bulk activity doesn't build an audience. Engagement depends on people who care about your posts, which is why our guide to winning real followers focuses on content and genuine interaction.
Desktop auto-likers showed the same problem. Our Robolike review found follower numbers rising while engagement sank.
So did a classic follower shop: SNS Growth produced a very similar pattern in our tests.
There's also the practical side. FollowingLike only runs on Windows, needs your computer on while it works and expects you to set up proxies and fingerprints yourself. That's a lot of technical effort for something that, in our test, left the account looking less engaging to Instagram rather than more. A creator's time is better spent on posts and real conversations with people in their niche, with a managed service handling the outreach if they need help.
Desktop bots built for Instagram alone show the same pattern. Our NinjaGram review covers another licence-based tool whose followers barely engaged.
FollowingLike handled a test profile of ours for a month-long trial in the autumn 2026 round. We started at 1,401 followers and posted just as we normally would.
Followers, engagement rate and 30-day reach all came from Instagram Insights, recorded daily. Once the software was switched off, we gave it a fortnight and then measured the losses among the newcomers.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 1,401 | 7,275 |
| Engagement rate | 3.1% | 0.5% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 6,567 | 7,088 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 315 |
Account details are stored on your own PC rather than on FollowingLike's servers.
A 3-day free trial lets you see the software before paying.
Our follower count went from 1,401 to 7,275 during the test, but engagement fell from 3.1% to 0.5%, and 315 followers disappeared within two weeks of stopping. Thousands of followers who never react are bot followers, whatever software brought them in.
FollowingLike advertises auto-warming new accounts, masking them with cookie logins and browser fingerprints, binding each to its own proxy and plugging into SMM panels. Those are tools for running fake or bulk accounts, not for growing a genuine audience.
Its pricing page lists no plans or prices at all, only a note that everything is discounted. You have to contact the company or download the software to find out what it costs.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 | 3 days, licence on request |
| Paid licence | Not published | Prices aren't shown on the pricing page |
FollowingLike's pricing page has monthly and yearly tabs but lists no plans or prices; it only says all versions are discounted. Pricing has to be requested from the company.
There is a 3-day free trial. Licences are sent by email after payment, and running large numbers of accounts at the same time requires its separate Master Control Program.

FollowingLike runs actions in bulk from your own computer, which is exactly the kind of automated activity Instagram looks for. Its own features, from proxy binding to fingerprint masking, exist to stop accounts from being linked and suspended.
Instagram's account terms govern how accounts may be accessed and used. Software designed to disguise many accounts at once is the opposite of what those terms describe.
Once any software has held your login, reset the password and enable Instagram's two-factor sign-in.

FollowingLike is a bot by design, and its followers matched that description: engagement slumped to 0.5% and 315 were gone within two weeks of stopping. Its focus on proxies, fingerprints and warming up new accounts points to account farming, and you can't even see what it costs. For genuine growth, start with the highest-rated growth services on our list.
A bulk automation bot with no published prices, and the followers it brought didn't engage. Choose Upleap instead.
1/5It is automation software, so everything it does on Instagram is done by a bot. In our test its followers acted like bots as well: close to 5,900 turned up, engagement dropped from 3.1% to 0.5%, and 315 vanished soon after we stopped.
A Windows program that automates posting, liking, commenting, following and direct messages on nine networks, Instagram and LinkedIn among them, plus Reddit, Quora and others.
Its pricing page shows no prices. It offers a 3-day free trial, and the licence is sent by email after payment.
No. FollowingLike only runs on Windows; on a Mac you'd need a virtual machine.
As many as you like, though not all at once on one computer. Running huge numbers simultaneously needs its separate Master Control Program.
Upleap. A real account manager grows one account by engaging people in your niche, and 96% of the followers it brought us stayed after we stopped.
