CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Famoid sells Instagram followers, likes and views, and our test told a clear story of bot followers: the count jumped by thousands while engagement sank from 3.3% to 0.3%, and 530 had disappeared a fortnight later. Its Trustpilot profile has also been removed. For followers who are real members, see our SocialFollow review instead.
Famoid has sold social media numbers since 2017 and says it has delivered more than two million orders. Its range covers Instagram followers, likes, views and Reels engagement, plus TikTok and Facebook.
It now frames those followers as real people reached through third-party ads, and adds a Managed Growth plan that drips followers in daily for 30 days. That pitch puts it alongside the Instagram growth tools we review, so we tested it the same way.
Famoid is a storefront. You choose a quantity, pay, and the numbers arrive over the following hours or days. Its Managed Growth plan spreads a daily amount across 30 days so the rise looks steadier.
Pick followers, likes, views, automatic likes or a Managed Growth plan, and choose the size.
Enter your public username or a post link. No password or app is involved.
Pay by card or wallet. Packages are one-off; Managed Growth covers a fixed 30 days.
Delivery starts within minutes and is paced so the jump looks natural.
If the count drops within 30 days, Famoid tops it back up for free.
Famoid sells follower numbers, and it delivers them quickly. If all you care about is the figure at the top of your profile for a short while, it does that. If you want people who watch, like and buy, look elsewhere.
Social proof is the main reason people buy. A profile with thousands of followers can look more established at first glance, and Famoid makes that number appear fast and cheaply.
The trouble is what happens next. Instagram decides who sees each post by watching how your audience reacts, so thousands of followers who never respond tell it your content isn't worth showing. Our guide to growing followers organically explains the better route.
Famoid wasn't alone in this. Our UseViral review found the same pattern at an even larger scale.
Another long-running follower shop, iDigic, left our test account with the same kind of silent crowd.
It's also worth asking what you'd do with the money otherwise. The $69.95 Famoid charges for a month of Managed Growth is about the same as a month with a targeted growth service, and only one of those left our account with followers who react to what we post.
We pointed Famoid at a test account for one month in autumn 2026 (September to October), when it stood at 1,547 followers. The account kept its usual posting routine.
Each day we noted the follower count, engagement rate and reach from Instagram Insights. Two weeks after the last delivery we looked again to count how many of the new followers were missing.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 1,547 | 8,345 |
| Engagement rate | 3.3% | 0.3% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 7,157 | 7,801 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 530 |
Delivery kicks off within minutes, and Famoid never asks for your login.
Prices are listed upfront, and there's a free 30-day refill if counts fall.
In one month our account grew from 1,547 to 8,345 followers, yet engagement slumped from 3.3% to 0.3%. Reach rose only slightly, and 530 followers had vanished two weeks after we stopped. Famoid says "no bots", but these were bot followers in everything but name.
Famoid's Trustpilot profile has been removed. On October 15, 2026, Trustpilot showed only a notice that the profile had been removed for breaching its guidelines.
Once an order is fully delivered, it can't be refunded. If the count drops later you get a refill within 30 days, not your money back.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | $15.95 per 1,000 | One-off packs; the site says its packs start at $2.95 |
| Managed Growth | $69.95 per 30 days | About 100 followers a day (3,000 total); up to $369.95 for 5,000 a day |
| Automatic likes | From $79.99 one-off | Likes added to each new post, no subscription |
Famoid doesn't sell a monthly subscription. Follower packs are one-off purchases, Managed Growth is a fixed 30-day plan, and automatic likes start at $79.99 as a one-time payment.
Refunds apply only to orders that fail to deliver, requested within 30 days. Drops within 30 days are refilled instead.

Because Famoid only needs your username, your login stays safe. The risk sits with what you're buying: a large block of followers who never engage drags your engagement rate down, so Instagram quietly narrows who sees each new post.
Bought followers also get purged. Instagram's community terms set out what accounts may and may not do, and when Instagram removes fake accounts, purchased followers tend to disappear with them.
Protect your account with Instagram's two-step sign-in, and watch engagement as closely as follower count.

Famoid is quick, cheap and password-free, but what it delivered looked nothing like a real audience. Almost 7,000 followers arrived, engagement fell to 0.3% and hundreds vanished soon after. Its missing Trustpilot profile doesn't help. You'll get people who actually engage from the Instagram growth picks we recommend.
It sells numbers, and the followers it sent behaved like bots. SocialFollow gives you real members for free.
1/5A shop that has sold Instagram, TikTok and Facebook followers, likes and views since 2017. It also offers automatic likes and a 30-day Managed Growth plan.
It says no, and that followers come from real people reached through third-party ads. Our results looked like bots: 6,798 new followers, engagement down to 0.3%, and 530 gone within two weeks of the test ending.
Its site says 1,000 followers cost $15.95. Managed Growth runs for 30 days and costs $69.95 for about 3,000 followers, up to $369.95 for about 150,000.
No. Just a username, or a link to the post you want boosted.
Only if your order doesn't deliver or something goes wrong that it can't fix, and you must ask within 30 days. Delivered orders aren't refundable.
SocialFollow gives you real members as followers for free, and Kicksta helps people in your niche find your posts. Both kept engagement healthy in our tests.
