CASE FILE · LINKEDIN AUTOMATION
Our score: 3.5/5
It dependsShort version: Expandi is a powerful, cloud-based LinkedIn automation tool with smart branching campaigns and strong agency features. But at $99 a month per account it's expensive, and it markets ways to push past LinkedIn's usual limits. For safer outreach at half the price, read our Aimfox review first.
Expandi is a LinkedIn automation platform for sales teams, recruiters and lead generation agencies. It sends connection requests, messages and follow-ups from the cloud, and it can add email steps to the same sequence.
Newer additions include an MCP connection that lets AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT build lead lists, draft campaigns and write replies inside your account, plus image and video personalisation through partner tools.
Expandi runs your LinkedIn activity from the cloud, so campaigns keep going when your computer is off. You build sequences of actions, and the tool works through your lead list within the limits you set.
Link your LinkedIn account. Expandi assigns it a dedicated IP address based in your country and starts with a gradual warm-up.
Pull prospects from LinkedIn searches, groups, events or posts, or import a CSV of leads you already have.
Use the smart sequence builder to combine invites, messages, profile actions and email follow-ups, with if-then branches based on how each lead responds.
Personalise messages with variables, and add personalised images or GIFs through paid add-ons and integrations.
Track replies and step statistics in the dashboard, prioritise the campaigns that work, and share reports with your team or clients.
Expandi fits experienced outreach teams and agencies who want a lot of control over each campaign and don't mind paying for it. Beginners and solo users on a budget will find cheaper, simpler tools that cover the same basics.
Expandi is aimed at people who run outreach as a core part of their job. If you manage many campaigns at once, branching sequences and campaign prioritisation help you spend your daily limits on the campaigns that are actually working.
Agencies get the most out of it. Separate workspaces, roles and reports let one team handle outreach for several clients without mixing data, which is why it shows up so often in agency stacks.
Before committing, compare it with cheaper options. Our Dripify review covers a tool with a similar cloud setup for less per seat.
If you're new to outreach, Waalaxy is far easier to start with and costs a fraction of the price.
One thing to plan for is cost over time. Because Expandi charges per LinkedIn account, an agency running ten client profiles pays for ten seats, and the price only drops with yearly billing or a negotiated agency deal. Work out the total before you commit, not after the trial ends.
It's also worth deciding upfront how much volume you really need. The tool makes it easy to scale invitations, but replies come from relevance, not reach. A tighter list and a modest weekly pace usually book more meetings than an aggressive campaign that gets your account flagged.

This Expandi review is based on Expandi's own website, pricing page and FAQ, checked on October 16, 2026. We then weighed that against independent reviews and user feedback on review sites.
We also looked back at two earlier Expandi reviews on our blog and compared the tool with the other tools in our LinkedIn automation list on safety, campaign options and real monthly cost. Our scoring method explained shows how every tool gets its score out of 5.
The sequence builder lets campaigns change course depending on whether someone accepts, replies or ignores you, and it mixes LinkedIn steps with email follow-ups.
Each account gets a dedicated IP address in its own country, runs in the cloud and goes through an auto warm-up before reaching full speed.
Workspaces, roles and shareable reports make it easier to run outreach for several clients from one place.
At $99 a month per LinkedIn account on monthly billing, Expandi is one of the pricier tools in this category, and costs climb quickly once you add seats for a team or clients.
Expandi promotes campaign types, such as its Mobile Connector, that let you send around 100 extra connection requests a week. Going beyond LinkedIn's normal pace is exactly what puts accounts at risk.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Business | $99/month | One LinkedIn account, cloud running, dedicated IP, smart campaigns, email follow-ups |
| Agency | Not published | For 10+ seats or white label, priced on request |
Expandi bills per LinkedIn account. Paying yearly brings the Business plan down to about $79 a month, but you pay for the whole year upfront.
Image and GIF personalisation costs extra on top of the subscription. Agencies looking at 10 or more seats or a white-label setup need to request a call for pricing.

Expandi gets several safety basics right. It runs in the cloud instead of as a browser extension, gives each account a dedicated country-based IP address, warms up new profiles, and lets you set limit ranges that it won't let you exceed.
The concern is what else it encourages. Campaign types marketed as a way around outreach limits sit badly with LinkedIn's automation policy, which already says third-party automation isn't allowed. Stretching your volume beyond LinkedIn's normal weekly pace is how accounts end up restricted.
Check LinkedIn's software rules first, skip any feature sold as a way around limits, and keep your weekly invitations modest.

Expandi is a serious tool with smart campaigns, email follow-ups and good agency features, which explains its loyal users. The price per account is high, though, and promoting ways around LinkedIn's limits is the opposite of careful outreach. Most teams will get similar results more safely and for less money from the leading picks in our LinkedIn automation reviews.
Feature-rich and agency-ready, but pricey, and its limit-stretching extras add avoidable risk.
Not sure it fits? Here are Compare Expandi alternatives.
It's a cloud-based LinkedIn automation tool. It sends connection requests, messages and email follow-ups from sequences you build, and it adds team workspaces and reporting for agencies.
The Business plan costs $99 a month per account on monthly billing, or the equivalent of $79 a month if you pay yearly. Agencies with 10 or more seats can ask for custom pricing.
Yes. Expandi gives you seven days to try it, with every feature unlocked during the trial. Once those days end, there's no free tier to fall back on.
Its cloud setup, country-based IP and gradual warm-up all lower the risk. Still, automation breaks LinkedIn's rules whatever the tool, and the campaign types sold for exceeding limits make things riskier.
Aimfox is the one we'd pick from our Expandi alternatives. It has similar campaign options, hard weekly limits and local IPs, and its seat price is about half of what Expandi charges.
