LeadMine review: features, pricing and verdict

3/5

Our score: 3/5

It depends

Short version: LeadMine is a budget email finder with a free plan and paid plans from $29 a month. It finds and verifies business emails well enough for light prospecting, but it lacks phone numbers, CRM sync and the depth of bigger platforms. For reaching people on LinkedIn, see our Aimfox review.

What is LeadMine?

LeadMine is a lead generation tool focused on business email addresses. It combines a searchable contact database, an email lookup tool, an email verifier and a Chrome extension, all running on a simple credit system.

It's aimed at people who want verified emails without paying for a full sales intelligence platform. For a tool that grows your audience on LinkedIn instead of finding emails, our Taplio review covers the content side.

How LeadMine works

LeadMine keeps things simple. Each tool does one job, from finding leads to checking whether an email will reach an inbox, and each successful result costs a credit.

Step 1: Search for leads

Use Lead Finder to narrow contacts down by place, sector, turnover, job role, employer or headcount band, then keep searches for later.

Step 2: Look up an email

Enter a person's full name and their company's domain to find their business email, or pull every email for a domain in one click.

Step 3: Verify addresses

Check whether an address is deliverable. LeadMine tests the syntax, the domain's mail records and the mail server itself.

Step 4: Collect as you browse

Install the Chrome extension to collect leads and find their emails while you browse company websites and Google results.

Step 5: Export your list

Download your leads as a CSV file from the dashboard and import them into your email tool or CRM.

Who is LeadMine best for?

LeadMine suits solo founders, freelancers and small teams who only need a modest number of contacts each month. It covers the basics of finding and checking business emails at a low price, without the extras bigger platforms charge for.

If you already pay for a larger data platform, LeadMine adds little. But as a first email finder, or a cheap backup for occasional lookups, it does the job without long contracts or complicated settings.

A good fit if you

  • Need a handful of verified work emails each month
  • Want a free email finder to try before paying anything
  • Work alone or in a very small team on a tight budget
  • Find leads from company websites and Google results

Skip it if you

  • Need direct phone numbers or deep company data
  • Want your leads synced straight into a CRM
  • Prospect thousands of contacts every month
  • Expect LinkedIn outreach or automation features

Why use LeadMine at all?

Cold email only works if your messages reach real inboxes. A quick verification step before you send protects your sender reputation, and LeadMine bundles that check with its search.

It's also a low-risk way to start. The free plan gives you 10 credits every month, and the paid plans are cheap enough for a freelancer or early-stage founder. Personal-brand tools such as Kleo work on the other side, helping prospects come to you.

Because the tools are basic, there's very little to learn. You can search, find an email and export a list in a few minutes. We explain how we keep reviews fair in our editorial policy.

How we reviewed it

LeadMine's site and plan list, read on October 16, 2026, are the basis of this LeadMine review, along with what users say about email accuracy and the limits of the free tier.

We compared it with other LinkedIn email finders on price per contact, data depth and how easily the results fit into a sales workflow. The testing and scoring page lays out the method behind each score.

What we liked

Low cost to start

Basic gives 250 credits for $29 a month, which keeps verified business emails affordable, and the 10 free monthly credits cost nothing to try.

Pay for results only

Credits are only taken for fully verified business emails, so you don't pay for searches that come back empty or uncertain.

Easy to pick up

Lead search, email lookup, verification and a browser extension are all simple to use, with little to set up.

What we didn't like

A basic feature set

LeadMine finds emails and checks them, and that's about it. There's no CRM sync, no phone numbers and none of the intent data or enrichment you get from bigger platforms.

Limited credits

Basic includes 250 credits a month and Essential 1,000. Anyone who needs more has to contact the company for a custom deal, so heavy users may outgrow it quickly.

What we liked

  • Pro: Low-cost paid plans
  • Pro: Free plan with 10 credits a month
  • Pro: Credits only spent on verified emails

What we didn't like

  • Con: Basic features and no CRM sync
  • Con: Credits are limited on cheaper plans

Plans are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. There's a cheaper yearly option too, and moving between plans is allowed whenever you like.

LeadMine accepts cards and PayPal, plus bank transfer on yearly plans. Teams that need more than 1,000 credits a month have to ask for a custom quote.

Is LeadMine safe?

LeadMine doesn't connect to your LinkedIn account, so it can't get your profile restricted under LinkedIn's prohibited software rules. It works from its own database and from public pages you browse with the extension.

The responsibility lies in how you use the emails. If you contact people in Europe, read what GDPR requires and keep every message relevant, honest and easy to opt out of.

Before emailing a new list, check the EU data rules and remove anyone who isn't a good fit.

LeadMine review: our verdict

LeadMine does the basics at a fair price, and paying only for verified emails is a nice touch. For a solo founder sending a few dozen emails a week, that may be enough. Sales teams will miss phone numbers, CRM sync and richer data, which is where tools like UpLead pull ahead in our wider look at LinkedIn sales tools.

Does Platypus recommend LeadMine?

It depends

A cheap, simple email finder for light prospecting that most sales teams will outgrow.

Yes. Signing up gives you 10 free credits every month, and you don't need a credit card.

LinkedIn reviews

I review LinkedIn automation and outreach tools. I care about two things: whether a tool actually gets you replies, and whether it keeps your account safe. If a tool pushes LinkedIn's limits, I'll tell you plainly.
