CASE FILE · INSTAGRAM GROWTH
Short version: Instazood is an openly bot-based Instagram tool, and during our test it handed us bot followers: over 13,700 showed up while engagement fell from 3.7% to 0.4%. It's cheap at $9.99 a month, but that's what you get. If you want genuine people, our Kicksta review is the better read.
Instazood is a web-based Instagram automation tool that has been around for years. It calls itself an Instagram bot and sells modules that follow, like, comment, unfollow and send messages automatically, plus post scheduling and a comment tracker.
Alongside the bot it sells likes and video views by the hundred. It sits at the cheap end of the Instagram growth tools we've reviewed, and it works very differently from the services we recommend.
Instazood logs in to your Instagram account and runs automated actions from it. You pick targets and filters in a web dashboard, choose a speed, and the bot follows, likes, comments and unfollows on its own.
Create an account on Instazood's site and link your Instagram profile to its dashboard. Nothing needs to be installed.
Add usernames, hashtags and locations for the bot to target, and set filters for the accounts it should interact with.
Choose a speed setting. Instazood says it lowers the speed automatically to stay under Instagram's limits.
The bot follows, likes, comments, unfollows and, with the DM module, sends welcome messages from your account.
The dashboard shows activity and stats, and you can run one or many Instagram accounts from the same login.
Instazood is honest about one thing: it is an Instagram bot. If you treat your account as disposable, a $9.99 bot might appeal. For anyone building a real brand or business, the followers it brought us were the wrong kind.
People choose Instazood for the price and the speed. For under $10 a month, a bot does hours of following and liking every day, and the follower count climbs quickly.
The trouble is what that count is made of. Over a single month we picked up more than 13,700 followers while engagement slid from 3.7% to 0.4%. A crowd that never reacts tells Instagram your posts aren't worth showing, which is the opposite of growth.
Organic growth is slower, yet the routine in our walkthrough on growing real followers build an audience that actually watches and buys.
Flamista works in a similar way and produced similar numbers, as our Flamista review explains.
Managed services that promise human outreach didn't always do better: Virallized showed the same pattern on our account.
Instazood was switched on for a test profile with 2,758 followers and kept running until the month-long test closed in October 2026. We kept to the account's normal posting habits for the whole period.
Each day we noted three Insights figures: followers, engagement rate and reach. We switched the bot off, waited fourteen days and recounted to find out how many accounts had dropped away.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 2,758 | 16,463 |
| Engagement rate | 3.7% | 0.4% |
| Accounts reached (30 days) | 12,999 | 12,170 |
| Followers lost after we stopped (14 days) | – | 459 |
At $9.99 a month for the core bot, it costs less than most tools in this space, with a 3-day free start.
Post scheduling, a comment tracker and multi-account management are handy extras, if you only need them for organising content.
Instazood is an Instagram bot by its own description, and the followers that arrived acted like bots as well. Our count rose from 2,758 to 16,463, engagement collapsed from 3.7% to 0.4%, reach slipped and 459 followers vanished within two weeks of stopping.
The homepage sells an "Instagram bot" for follows, likes, comments and DMs, then promises the followers you get are "not merely forged by bots". Our results didn't back that up.
Instazood scores 1.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 351 reviews, rated Bad. Other review sites mention account blocks, glitches and trouble cancelling.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram Bot | $9.99/month | Auto follow, like, comment and unfollow with activity filters |
| Comment Tracker | $9.99/month | Manage, reply to and delete comments in one place |
| Post Manager | $9.99/month | Schedule and auto-publish unlimited posts |
| Direct Message | $14.99/month | Automated welcome messages and DMs, 80 to 120 a day |
Each module is priced separately and billed monthly, with a 3-day free start. You pay only for the modules you switch on.
Instazood also sells Instagram likes at $1 per 100 and video views at $0.50 per 100 as one-off purchases.
Prices checked October 15, 2026.
Instazood runs automated follows, likes, comments and DMs from your account, at volumes no person would manage by hand. That is exactly the behaviour Instagram looks for when it restricts accounts, and reviewers on other sites mention blocks.
Instagram's terms page rules out accessing the service in automated ways without Instagram's permission. A slower speed setting may reduce the chance of a block, but it doesn't change what the tool is.
If you've used any bot, turn on two-factor login protection, change your password and remove the app's access.

Instazood is the most direct example of what we warn against: an automation bot that inflates your follower count with accounts that never engage. Engagement fell by almost 90% on our account, reach slipped, and hundreds of followers left as soon as we stopped. Its low price doesn't make up for that. The Instagram growth services we recommend bring in real people instead.
A cheap Instagram bot that delivered bot followers. Choose Kicksta for real people.
1/5Yes. Instazood describes itself as an Instagram bot that automatically follows, likes, comments, unfollows and sends DMs. The followers we gained from it behaved like bots as well: engagement fell to 0.4% and 459 left within two weeks.
It's a web-based Instagram automation tool with extra modules for scheduling posts, tracking comments and sending DMs. It also sells likes and video views.
The Instagram Bot is $9.99 a month. The Comment Tracker and Post Manager are $9.99 a month each, Direct Message is $14.99 a month, and likes and views are sold separately.
Yes, each paid module offers a 3-day free start.
Instazood says the bot slows down automatically to avoid Instagram's limits, but any tool that follows, likes and messages in bulk from your account risks blocks, and Instagram's terms don't allow it.
Kicksta. It works at a human pace, brought us real followers who interacted, and pushed our engagement rate up to 5.5% over that month.
