Somiibo Review: Is It Effective?

What is Somiibo and is it a scam

Somiibo is a company that offers automated tools for various social media. It’s been around for a while and is relatively well-known.

It’s no secret that it uses bots, and this is the part that I don’t like. Instagram isn’t fond of bots and does its best to eradicate them. This is why you can’t be sure whether a service like Somiibo works at all.

The Somiibo reviews I found were superficial and didn’t paint the complete picture. I decided to take the matter into my own hands and see what this company is all about.

Is Somiibo worth your time? Does it deliver results?

What is Somiibo?

How to get started Somiibo

When you see a service that openly calls itself a “social media bot,” you’ve got to appreciate the honesty. Yes, I’m referring to Somiibo.

Many similar companies use the term “Instagram growth service,” which is just a fancy name for a bot. However, most of them try to hide this and sell you the idea that they’re something else.

Honesty is great, but it doesn’t guarantee quality. So, what exactly does Somiibo do? It performs automated actions on social media like Soundcloud, Twitter, and Instagram.

In the case of Instagram, it likes, follows, and unfollows. You might not know, but it isn’t wise to employ such a service to grow your account. Other than looking spammy, using an Instagram bot can get you suspended or banned.

Let’s say that you’re willing to take the risk. What will you get in return?

Somiibo claims that it’ll provide you with organic engagement and followers.

That’s what they all say, isn’t it?

But, the reality is a bit different. Hardly anyone who used this tool got any of the promised gains. The number of followers/likes they received was neglectable.

On the bright side, I didn’t see many instances where it got accounts banned. That’s good, right? Yeah, but it doesn’t mean anything if the results aren’t there.

How does Somiibo work?

Somiibo is a software that you can download for free from the company’s official website. It works on both Windows and Mac.

As for Instagram growth services, it offers two automation modules – Promotion and Follow.

The Promotion module searches for posts using keywords or hashtags, and likes them.

The Follow module searches for users to, well, follow. When it finds them, it follows them, and hopefully, some of them will follow you back.

The targeting is done using various filters and options, which I’m going to discuss later.

The peculiar thing is that I couldn’t find the Follow module anywhere in the pricing. This option isn’t listed in either of their two subscription packages.

How to get started with Somiibo?

The first thing you have to do is download the software from Somiibo’s website. Choose the version for the operating system that you’re using. Install the program, sign up with your email and password, and then sign in.

The next step would be to connect your Instagram account. Click on the “+” in the upper lefthand corner, and choose the type of account. The options are incognito, default, personal, and business.

Once you do that, you’ll see all the services that Somiibo offers. Find Instagram and click “Load.” Customize the settings (targeting, filters, etc.) and click on the play button in the upper right corner.

If you have the free version, you’ll be able to use it for three hours a day. After that, you’ll have to upgrade to Premium.

Somiibo Features

Somiibo’s software is loaded with features. You can tweak and adjust its operation through the dashboard. Here’s a preview of some of its capabilities.

Automatic Likes/Follows/Unfollows

This is the essence of Somiibo and it’s nothing revolutionary. The bot likes posts and follows/unfollows users based on the targeting that you set.

As I mentioned earlier, Instagram doesn’t really approve of this. It wants you to do these activities organically. If the algorithm catches you using a bot, it may suspend or ban your account.

On top of that, the like-for-like, or follow-for-follow strategies are seldom effective.

Filtering and Advanced Settings

Somiibo’s filtering options are decent. You can set it to search either for random, new, or top content. Also, you choose whether it interacts with private profiles or not.

The advanced options include setting the delay between two actions. They recommend 10 to 20 seconds, but you can enter any number you want.

Multi-tasking

The software allows you to run multiple tasks at the same time. For example, you can run the Instagram promo module in the first tab, a SoundCloud module in the second, and a Twitter module in the third. It’s also able to automate several Instagram accounts at once.

The issue with the multi-tasking feature is that it’s very taxing on the computer. You’ll need a powerful machine to be able to support it. If you’re using a laptop, it’ll drain the battery quickly.

Proxy Support

A method that Somiibo uses to “outsmart” social media is proxy support. In other words, it enables you to assign a different proxy to each module. As far as I know, there’s no way that anyone can “catch” you doing this, so it’s safe for now.

Targeting

With Somiibo, you can target accounts and posts using hashtags, phrases, number of followers, and likes on a post.

Wait, there’s more.

The date of a post can also be taken into account. By setting a recent date, the bot won’t go around liking old and obsolete posts.

Customer Service

The company’s customer service isn’t the greatest. You can reach them on Discord or via a contact form on the website. Either way, they take a long time to respond, and sometimes don’t respond at all. The latter is often the case when people ask for a refund.

Somiibo Pricing

Somiibo offers a range of subscription plans to cater to various user needs, including both free and premium options. Below is a detailed breakdown of their current pricing and features:

1. Somiibo Basic (Free):

  • Price: $0 per month
  • Features:
    • 1 Custom Session
    • Up to 2 Module Tabs
    • Maximum Module Runtime of 30 minutes

2. Somiibo Standard:

  • Price: $19.95 per month (or $15.95 per month if billed annually)
  • Features:
    • 2 Custom Sessions
    • Unlimited Module Tabs
    • Unlimited Module Runtime

3. Somiibo Agency:

  • Price: $29.95 per month (or $37.95 per month if billed annually)
  • Features:
    • 20 Custom Sessions
    • Unlimited Module Tabs
    • Unlimited Module Runtime

Each “Custom Session” allows users to automate multiple accounts on the same platform by creating separate sessions, each with its own cache and storage. This feature is particularly beneficial for agencies and businesses managing multiple social media accounts.

Payments for Somiibo’s services can be made via PayPal or credit card, providing flexibility for users.

Additionally, Somiibo offers a 14-day free trial for their premium plans, allowing users to explore the advanced features before committing.

It’s important to note that pricing and features are subject to change, so it’s recommended to visit Somiibo’s official website or contact their customer support for the most up-to-date information.

Is Somiibo Legit?

As far as I was able to find out, yes, the company seems legit. They provide a wide range of services and tools, not just social media bots. I wasn’t able to come across any accusations of fraud.

But, it is far from great.

The reviews on their website do not look authentic. This is a dishonest move from a company that boasts about being straightforward and honest. Fake reviews don’t provide evidence that their tools actually work.

Also, their FAQ page is quite poor and doesn’t cover all important topics that interest potential users. Are they trying to hide something? Maybe.

Somiibo’s refund policy is shady too. If you want a refund, you have to contact them and explain why you want it. They will then decide if you’re eligible or not. That’s no way to run a business if you ask me. A customer should receive their money back with no questions asked.

When compared to other Instagram growth services like Kicksta, Upleap, NITREO, and Poprey, Somiibo falls short in terms of transparency.

Kicksta offers a 14-day money-back guarantee, giving users some peace of mind. Upleap also provides a refund option if users are unsatisfied within a set period. NITREO follows a similar approach, allowing refunds under certain conditions.

Meanwhile, Poprey, like Somiibo, has an unclear refund policy that may leave users frustrated. If a refund policy is important to you, opting for a service with a straightforward money-back guarantee is a safer bet.

Is Somiibo Safe?

I would say that Somiibo is relatively safe to use. The website is secure, and the payment gateways are verified. If you want to be extra safe, don’t pay with your CC, but via PayPal.

The not-so-safe part is the chance of getting a ban on Instagram. This is a risk that you have to accept if you want to use a bot. If you leave Somiibo running for hours each day, I’d say the probability of getting on Instagram’s radar is pretty high.

Somiibo Review: Final Word

Where can you use Somiibo services

Is Somiibo the answer to your Instagram account’s growth?

Nope. The tool just won’t cut it, folks. People have left it running for days on end and have received no more than a few followers.

It’s being promoted as a well-rounded growth service, when in fact, it’s a simple (ineffective) bot. On top of this, the company charges a hefty amount for it.

You could invest the money in some better alternatives, such as organic growth services. There are links to a few of those in the table above.

In the competitive landscape of social media automation tools, alternatives such as Idigic are often discussed alongside Somiibo. While Somiibo provides a comprehensive suite for automating social media interactions, users might find that Idigic makes similar claims regarding its engagement-boosting capabilities.

However, it’s essential to approach Idigic’s promises with a degree of caution, as the actual performance of its features may not always meet user expectations in the same way that Somiibo has proven to do for many.
