Some companies pride themselves on being the best in security, some pride themselves on being the best when it comes to value and service ratio, but rarely a company prides itself on being the best at everything.
Zopto is one of these companies that don’t admit to their mistakes, even if they make some along the way.
This doesn’t have to be necessarily bad, but it can sometimes cloud the judgment of the developing team and lead to some mistakes left unfixed and the customers and users unsatisfied.
This is why I have decided to dig deep down and discover if there are some mistakes and oversight of particular things in the work of this company.
Join me on this journey and find out if the best really is the best at what they do. In the end, you will be able to make your own decision on whether they’re good or not and if you want to use them or search for an alternative.
While on the topic of alternatives, let me introduce you to AimFox. This is a LinkedIn tool that does it all. If you’re tirelessly looking for a company to trust and rely on, they are the one. Don’t believe me? Check out my lengthy review of AimFox, and see what they’re offering that their competition doesn’t for yourself. It’ll only take a few minutes but will give you all the necessary information that you need when choosing a service to help you make your LinkedIn profile come to life!
Now, back to the topic at hand…
Zopto Reviews – Online Opinion
The first step in every person’s research campaign is to look at what other people have to say about the service they are considering using.
There’s nothing wrong with this; on the contrary – it’s recommended. Unbiased opinions are the ones that come from people who have used the service and know a lot about it from their personal experience.
This is the precise reason why you should look online for these kinds of reviews when you’re doing your research, and this is exactly what I’ve done in mine.
Unfortunately, although Zopto is one of the biggest companies that provide LinkedIn service, I wasn’t able to find a lot of reviews.
I’ve searched Sitejabber, and I’ve searched Trustpilot – but to no avail. The only trustworthy website that has some kind of information on Zopto is the Scamadviser, but more on that a little bit later.
Knowing fully well how hard it is to get an unbiased opinion without getting through a bunch of paid reviews – this might be a better scenario.
Let’s see what people from Zopto have to tell us about their service, and then we’ll dive right into what the rest of the internet has to say.
These are just a few prime examples that I’ve run into while doing my research on Zopto and their service:
You might say: well, these are just a few negative reviews you’ve stumbled upon. And to that, I’d just say – how would you feel if your negative review of the service you really didn’t enjoy using was so easily dismissed?
It’s not a nice feeling to get your opinion neglected, so always take into account other people’s experiences and don’t dismiss them so easily.
Is Zopto Legit?
The legitimacy of a particular service rests on a few principles. My personal parameters really come down to one thing: Do they provide the service that they’re advertising?
If they’re not, it means that they aren’t legit in my eyes. If they do, but with some minor changes to what they say they do, that’s fine by my standards.
The only thing that matters is that the consumer gets what they paid for and not some clunky version of the promised service.
Now let’s take a look at that Scamadviser page dedicated to Zopto, and let me tell you why I don’t buy it.
When I look at this overall view, I see two things that make me question the legitimacy of such a high grade.
First, there are exactly zero reviews on Zopto’s service. This means that this high grade wasn’t given because a big number of people gave it a good grade. Remember what I said about the importance of other people’s experiences? Well, that comes into play now.
The other thing that also stands out is that there are also zero comments on this page. This is unsettling for the same reason as the previous comment of mine regarding Zopto’s grade on Scamadviser.
But, let’s take a look at why did they get such a high grade:
The only thing that I see as legit is that they say Zopto has a legitimate SSL certificate.
You see, this is quite important, but the certificate is not the only important thing. Take into comparison the comments of people who have used this service and this Scamadvisers score. Do they match? I wouldn’t say so.
So, who should you trust in a situation like this? Well, you should take both into consideration but I always prioritize the experience of an ordinary man because it tells me more than a hundred reviews that have been written by people that probably didn’t even use the service.
The next big question is “is Zopto safe?”.
I would say so. I didn’t run into any serious problems that people pointed out about Zopto’s security features or them leaking their user’s information.
This is quite important as your number one priority should be to stay as safe as possible while using not only LinkedIn but other services and platforms on the internet.
Zopto really does meet the requirements in this field, but it does not outshine the competition in any sense.
Should you search for a Zopto alternative because of this? Well, no. Almost none of the services that are in this field offer you complete protection from all kinds of malicious programs or LinkedIn algorithms.
Don’t get too tangled up in searching for the ultimate protection service in this field because you won’t find much.
We’ve been testing a lot of services similar to Zopto, and so far the only one that earned our hard earned recommendation is Aimfox. It’s been rated well by the community to be the one of the safest and has best value at this price point. I’ve made a dedicated review for Aimfox here if you want to read more.
Zopto Review – Summation
Before jumping to any conclusions, I highly advise you to look at the Pros & Cons table I’ve made and see them side-by-side before making your decision:
PROS | CONS |
---|---|
Secure | No reviews |
/ | Lack of personalization |
/ | No clear message of your trial expiring |
/ | Can be buggy at times |
As you can see, there’s a lot to take in. I recommend you take a look at their website, read this review again if needed, and then make your decision.
Remember, there are a lot of alternatives so you shouldn’t give up that easily and give your money to the first service you run into.
