ThunderClap Review: Is This Instagram Growth Tool Worth Your Time in 2025?

If you’ve been scrolling through Instagram growth tools lately, chances are you’ve come across ThunderClap. It promises fast followers, more likes, and a quick boost to your account—without the hassle.

Sounds great, right? That’s exactly what I thought, too. But after actually trying it, I realised it’s just another one of those services that looks good on the surface but doesn’t deliver anything real.

In this review, I’ll walk you through my experience with ThunderClap, what they offer, and why I won’t be using it again in 2025.

What Is ThunderClap?

ThunderClap claims to be an Instagram growth service that helps you gain followers, likes, views, and more. But once I started using it, it became clear that it’s just another pay-for-numbers bot service.

There’s no smart targeting, no organic strategy, and no real community building. Everything is about inflating your stats with fake accounts. It looks good on the surface—for about five minutes—but it does nothing to help your actual content reach real people.

Who Is ThunderClap Best Suited For?

Honestly? I don’t think ThunderClap is a good fit for anyone serious about Instagram.

If you’re a creator, small business, or influencer trying to build trust and grow naturally, fake followers and likes will only hurt you. Maybe someone who just wants to look popular for a short time might try it, but even then, it’s risky.

The numbers don’t last, and your account ends up looking suspicious. If anything, ThunderClap seems best suited for people who don’t care about their long-term credibility. Well, I’ve had a similar situation with Social Buddy, and they killed my nerves as well.

What Instagram Services Does ThunderClap Offer?

ThunderClap offers a bunch of Instagram “growth” services: follower packages, likes, views for posts and stories, and bundled engagement deals. Sounds impressive, right?

Everything they provide is fake or automated. I didn’t gain real followers. The likes didn’t lead to real engagement. And the views? Just empty numbers from ghost accounts. It’s a service that looks helpful but doesn’t deliver anything meaningful.

Buying Instagram Followers Through ThunderClap

I bought a follower package hoping it would give my profile a credibility boost. Instead, I got hundreds of fake, lifeless accounts with no profile pictures, no bios, and zero activity.

A few of them even dropped off within a week. It made my profile look bloated and fake. Worse, my real engagement dropped because Instagram’s algorithm noticed something was off. Buying followers through ThunderClap didn’t help—it set me back.

ThunderClap’s Instagram Likes: What to Expect

When I bought likes from ThunderClap, I saw the numbers climb almost instantly—but that’s where the excitement ended. The likes came from obviously fake accounts and didn’t result in any comments, shares, or reach improvements.

It just made my post look “liked” without any real interaction. My content didn’t perform better, and the algorithm didn’t reward me. If anything, it made me feel like I was faking my way through Instagram, and that’s not what I signed up for.

Instagram Video Views from ThunderClap

I tested out ThunderClap’s video view service on one of my Reels. Sure, the view count went up—but that’s all that happened. There were no new followers, no comments, and no increase in actual engagement. The views felt robotic and empty, just there to pad the numbers.

If you’re hoping this will help your video go viral or reach new people, don’t hold your breath. My reel didn’t gain any traction at all—it was like shouting into a void.

Does ThunderClap Deliver Real Instagram Growth?

When I used ThunderClap, I didn’t get real growth—I got fake numbers. Sure, my follower count went up, and my posts had more likes for a little while, but nothing real came out of it. I didn’t get more comments, DMs, or profile visits from actual people.

My reach didn’t improve, and none of my posts performed better. It felt like a temporary boost that fizzled out fast. If you’re hoping ThunderClap will help you grow an authentic audience, trust me—it won’t.

One thing I’ve learned for sure is that you can’t trust sites like ThunderClap or Gramiety-they will take your money and leave you without anything.

Can Buying Followers from ThunderClap Help You Long-Term?

Not at all. In fact, it can hurt you in the long run.

I thought buying followers would give me a head start, maybe make my page look more legit so real people would follow me. But instead, I ended up with a bunch of fake accounts that didn’t interact with anything.

It made my engagement rate drop, and Instagram seemed to notice something was off. If you care about building a loyal, real community or working with brands, this kind of fake growth will backfire. It’s just not sustainable.

Do ThunderClap Likes Improve Your Engagement Rate?

Nope. Not even a little.

I bought likes for a few posts, hoping they’d help boost my content in the algorithm. The likes showed up quickly, but they didn’t come from real users, so they didn’t do anything useful. No one left a comment. No one followed me. No one shared my post.

And worst of all? My posts didn’t get pushed out to more people. If anything, my account’s performance dropped. These likes don’t help your engagement—they just create the illusion of activity. And Instagram sees right through it.

How Real Are the Followers and Likes from ThunderClap?

They’re not real at all—and it shows.

The followers I got looked fake immediately. Most had no profile pictures, no posts, and usernames that made no sense. Some of them even started disappearing after a few days. The likes were coming from dead accounts, too. Sounds familiar, right? If you have ever used Oxylabs, you would be surprised how similar they look.

There’s no authenticity, no interaction, no value. It’s just bot traffic, and anyone who looks at your profile can tell. Honestly, it made me feel embarrassed about using the service in the first place.

Pros and Cons of Using ThunderClap

Pros:

  • It’s easy to use
  • The delivery is fast
  • That’s… pretty much it

Cons:

  • The followers are completely fake
  • Likes don’t boost real engagement
  • Your posts won’t perform any better
  • You risk messing up your account’s algorithm
  • It can make your profile look sketchy to brands or real followers
  • It’s a waste of money if you want actual growth

Is ThunderClap Safe to Use on Your Instagram Account?

Honestly, I wouldn’t say so.

After using ThunderClap, I noticed a drop in my real engagement. My reach got worse, and my posts weren’t getting shown to as many people. It felt like Instagram knew something weird was going on—and it probably did.

Using fake followers and likes can lead to being shadowbanned or having your account flagged. That’s just not a risk I’m willing to take again. It might feel harmless, but it could totally mess with your account in the long run.

What Are Real Users Saying About ThunderClap?

When I looked up reviews, I saw a lot of the same complaints I had: fake followers, bad retention, and no actual growth. Some people even said their accounts got flagged or that customer service never responded when things went wrong.

And the “positive” reviews? They didn’t seem very legit—kind of like the followers ThunderClap sends you.

There’s a pattern here, and it’s not good. Most real users walk away disappointed.

Final Verdict: Is ThunderClap the Right Choice for Instagram Growth?

ThunderClap might promise fast growth, but what you get is fake engagement, short-lived numbers, and a bunch of bots that don’t help your brand or content. It doesn’t lead to real followers, it doesn’t improve your performance, and it doesn’t bring in meaningful results.

If you’re serious about Instagram, don’t waste your time or money here. There are better, safer, and more honest ways to grow. For example, Upleap and Kicksta are always an option.
