Instagram automation is somewhat controversial, but very practical indeed. Everyone automates some processes, and the key is to learn how to do it right.
A service called FollowLiker says that it can automate ALL your Instagram tasks. That’s a bold statement, and you should take it with a grain of salt.
Add to that the bad rep that’s been surrounding this company lately, and you’re left with the questions:
Does it work at all? Will it compromise your Instagram account?

What Is FollowLiker?
FollowLiker is a software used for social media management. It claims to be able to automate all the tasks you need to grow your account. Also, the company says how they avoid spamming tactics. I’m not entirely sure about the latter.
I imagine you’re primarily interested in Instagram. Still, it’s worth mentioning that it works with other platforms too. These include Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr.
The FollowLiker Instagram addition is the focus of this article. It’s been the most problematic of all their services, and we’ll go into the details later on.
Some of the actions that the software can (allegedly) perform include – following/unfollowing users, sending messages, scheduling tasks, photo searches, etc. This is just a small fraction of the total of its features.
If all of the above were true, then FollowLiker would be a very potent IG growth tool. Well, is it true? Not entirely.
OK, I’m too easy on them – the service doesn’t seem to work for Instagram anymore.
Despite this, it’s up on their website, like everything is fine. This is a major red flag, and it smells of fraud. At this point, using FollowLiker isn’t a great idea, especially when there are heaps of other, better IG growth tools.

How Does FollowLiker Work?
The FollowLiker software needs to be downloaded and installed on your computer. It’s compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux. For it to work, the computer needs to be on, and the software has to be running. There’s no mobile version.
The program isn’t easy to set up. Someone who isn’t tech-savvy might have real issues with it. The company offers a User Manual for this purpose, and I suggest you consult it.
You can use the service for one or more Instagram accounts. This depends on the licence that you buy. I’ll talk about pricing later, but for now, you need to know that there are three packages – for one, five, and unlimited accounts.

How To Set Up FollowLiker?
The first step with FollowLiker is to pick a plan on their website. They sell separate plans for each social media platform, so choose the one that you need.
Once that’s done, you’ll receive an email. In it, there will be a link to download the Followliker software. The software can be installed on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
But, there’s a catch.
If you want to use it on the latter two operating systems, you will need a Microsoft virtual private server. This adds another step to the already troublesome setup process. Mac and Linux users will have to go the extra mile to use this software.
Their website doesn’t mention this complication. It just says that the program works on all three operating systems. While this is technically true, it’s a bit misleading.
After you install it, you should personalize the settings. Choose which automated tasks you want and then set your target audience. You can target users based on their engagement with other accounts, their location, and hashtags.
When you do all of the above, the bot will take over.
As you can see, FollowLiker can (or at least it once could) perform various tasks at once. It’s best not to mess with it while it’s operating. By this, I mean that you limit your manual interactions.
That’s the way to make sure that you don’t breach Instagram’s daily engagement limits. If you do this, you risk getting banned.
FollowLiker Features
I hinted that FollowLiker is packed with numerous features. After all, the company says it can automate all your Instagram tasks. So what activities does this “all” encompass? Let’s find out.
Follow/Unfollow
Ah, the old follow/unfollow tactic. FollowLiker automated this action. Your account will follow users of interest based on their hashtags, location, and language.
Then, if the people you followed don’t follow back after some time, it’ll unfollow them. You can prevent the program from unfollowing certain users by placing them on a so-called “white list.”
Auto Comments And Messages
FollowLiker can send automated messages and comments for you. Let’s face it; nobody likes automated messages, so think twice before using this tool.
Depending on how you use it, this function can be either bad or horrible. The bad option would be sending welcome messages to new followers. The horrible option is pretty much anything else.
Like/Unlike
The program can do all the liking for you. Just set your target audience and fire away. It can even unlike some posts if you want it to. I’m not sure why someone would want to unlike posts, but maybe you have a reason.
Schedule Posts
Automated post scheduling is a feature that Instagram (usually) turns a blind eye on. Out of all we mentioned, this option would be the safest to use. Make a list of posts that you want to upload and make a schedule. FollowLiker should do the rest.
Find Followers
Here’s another feature from the “good side” of automation. FollowLiker can help you search for users to follow. It does the search using keywords, hashtags, and location filters.
I’m not sure what it’s success rate is, or how compatible the users will be with you. However, it’s a safe feature to use, and that’s important.
Run Multiple Accounts
You can run FollowLiker on more than one account. Of course, this is given that you bought an adequate licence. If you’re only using the “safe” automated features, then this tool can be quite useful. One can even utilize it to manage other people’s accounts.

The software is not free. As a matter of fact, there isn’t even a free trial. This is another major downside of FollowLiker, especially when considering their prices – not cheap at all.

The prices that you can see above are just one-time payments. After you make them, you’ll pay a monthly fee of $5.99 to keep the service active.
FollowLiker also offers combined social network licences. For example, you can buy one package for both Instagram and Tumblr. This costs less than buying two separate licences, so it might be a good deal for you.

Is FollowLiker Legit?
This is the big question. Can this company be trusted? I’m afraid not. According to reviews on Trustpilot.com, FollowLiker has many dissatisfied customers.
Most of the complaints say that the bot doesn’t work and that they couldn’t get in touch with the company. There’s no efficient way to contact them – no email, no chat, no phone number. They only have a contact form on the website, but rarely anyone gets a response.
Another major issue was that Instagram banned many people for using it.
All the negative comments were about the FollowLiker Instagram edition of the software. I don’t know how it works for other social media, if it works at all.
Is FollowLiker Safe?
The short answer would be no.
Don’t get me wrong; the company probably won’t steal your credit card info or sensitive data. Their website is https secure, and payment gateways are verified.
However, it is unsafe in the sense that they might get you banned. It seems that Instagram’s algorithm can easily detect it, so it’s risky to try it out. Also, if you end up being dissatisfied, which is highly probable, you might not get a refund.

Is FollowLiker any good? Can it help you boost your account?
No and no.
FollowLiker doesn’t seem to work for Instagram anymore. The last testimonies of people using it on this platform were from 2019. Even then, some profiles got banned for it.
I can’t make any claims about using this software with other social media. You’ll have to do your own research.
All in all, FollowLiker just isn’t worth trying. It may have been good in the past, but that time is long gone. Besides, there are plenty of other tools that can help grow and IG profile safely.
